Beautiful spot by the marina to fish or sit & watch the water. Dolphins can also be seen in the cut. Great fish & chips by the water or food in cafe fab depending what you feel like to eat.

We have usually bypassed Port Bouvard on route from Bunbury but our few days in Mandurah allowed us to visit some of the developments that have been undertaken over the last few decades. Although overcast, it was easy to see what a great facility has been established to cater for boating enthusiasts and incorporating wet and dry pens, fuel jetty, bait and tackle shop, café, boat services & repairs plus a boat sales yard. Also interesting to see the Dawesville Channel close-up instead of glances from the bridge as we pass over.

We launched our boat at the Port Bouvard Marina on the weekend to head out to the estuary to do some crabbing, This is also a great spot to head out the cut from here.

Came for a walk around and found the best fish and chips for lunch, friendly staff and nice sized helpings

We took a houseboat here and had a good view of one of the Giants of Mandurah that was looking out at sea (you need to be on a boat to properly see the front of the giant though).
You can fish beneath the Port Bouvard bridge but you get mainly small fish though.
We did not catch any crabs at the houseboat parking point there.

Great place to chill if you want something a little quieter than the centre of Mandurah. Has a couple of restaurants that are good and have reasonable prices.

We weren't at the marina per se but more using the groyne and rick walls as our fishing decision spot. This structure offers so much more than just for fisherman though. There are a lot of residences surrounding this area as well as nearby restaurants, food shops and conveniences. We ended up on a fishing platform where we could park the car and had toilets.
The area is great for a walk or a casual stroll. It offers opportunities to see the wildlife and dolphins who occasionally swim by. We didnt catch much this day but we enjoyed the area and is wildlife.

This property only has 4 villas right on the water but they provide everything and no expense has been spared to make sure you enjoy your stay . Waterfront location adjacent to marina cafes , washing and cooking facilities in units . Perfect for a fishing holiday or a base to visit wineries . We will definately be back .

You can choose from few different restaurants and just sit and relax overlooking the canal with boats, you can also have a nice walk around the area which is safe during the day and probably OK during the evening.

Have always enjoyed visiting Port Bouvard Marina as I have a beach house in nearby Falcon. The location is amazing even as a spot to watch the locals fishing for herring or checking out the Bridge and Estuary view.
The Coast Café is an awesome place to eat too. Have dined there twice and me friends and relatives who joined us by boat from the canals.
