Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was a walk on a showery day that had us dealing with mozzies and rain. We still walked the loop and enjoyed every bit of the experience. The structured gardens on one side were great for their art work as well as watching the birds of prey or thee Dart cormorant like bird fish successfully.
This was worth going out of our way to visit.

Peaceful place to visit with lots of photo opportunities. If you go on a hot day, remember a hat and some insect repellent. Parking is ample, but don't leave anything in your car in case of vandals. Well worth a visit.

Informative signage. Good boardwalk taking you to the water's edge, roos, blue wrens, gulls, grey fantail and Eastern great egret breeding and none breeding. Cafe with a good selection near by. This place is worth viviting.

Hadn’t been to this place , so thought we would get it a shot. Took the younger one on her push trike and was hoping for a long board walk , but unfortunately it’s a couple of hundred meters . Was hoping for a long board walk trail . But there is a walking track around , but after I got bit by mozzies and the Water smelt like sewerage we had enough. I am comparing to a boardwalk located on the West Tamer in Tassie , which is exceptional.
May go back to Creerys to do the walk around one day . When I’m board out of my brain lol .

Good place for an hour walk about and wildlife exploring. Plenty of birds and some kangaroos.
To enter into the Wetlands, enter via gate near the observatory tower.
There is no instructions, you have to spot the gate.

Was looking for something different to do while in Mandurah. Saw this on TripAdvisor so thought we would check it out.
Was such a lovely walk, peaceful and in some parts even a bit eery, really enjoyed it.
Had coffee at the cafe near the observation tower. Great spot for light lunch or coffee.

A fantastic walk through the Creery Wetlands, you can park in the carparks at either end of the wetlands on Darwin Tce, there are lovely peaceful walks, including raised boardwalks out to the end of the estuary, with a enclosed viewing hut, with seats. We saw plenty of small grey & red kangaroo's throughout our walk, blue wrens, ospreys, wildflowers etc, a great afternoon out.

We really enjoyed our walk around the Creery Wetlands. It was amazing to see so many kangaroos close up and a lizard or two.
Weather was wonderful as well. Boat trip over ditto, lots of dolphins.

Recently I visited this location several times, both early, later morning and afternoon and on every occasion I was able to see and photograph kangaroos, splendid fairywrens, swallows, egrets, other waterbirds ( further away) and the paths and signs were easy enough to follow. There could maybe have been some individual signs here and there but I admit the hides were shown on the original map. Take mozzie cream / spray for early and late visits. I didn’t mind the high fences and entry gate system, though we had minor trouble re fastening it later as the gate had dropped.

We live close by so walk this often. I really enjoy the walk - lots of Roos and birds to closely observe. Some days it's cold but we take a flask of warm tea, snacks and warm clothes. Close enough in Mandurah for anyone to get to. Suitable for all family as you can walk as little or far as you like.

is there a walking trail, if so, how long? and can u walk the dog on leash through?
Written 17 December 2016
A variety of walking trails and board walks out to the water, probably no longer than 30 - 45mins at a slow pace, completely level ground, and as it is a nature reserve, no dogs or cats are allowed, even on leads, they bait with 1080, so definitely not advised. Plenty of bird life and kangaroos, so don't forget a camera.
