The scenery is superb of the harbor and historically significant . Used as a base during world war 2 and the last view that Soldiers leaving for Egypt and Gallipoli had of the Australian shore. With the key attraction being the Nationally Anzac Centre. Great restaurant and visitors Centre/tourist shop. You would not be disappointed.

A must see and do! Not to miss on the Barracks! Walk around the grounds of how life must have been for the soldiers during WWI. A true ANZAC historians must do!

the military hardware on display were a fantastic attraction for my two boys who are currently very interested in all things war related from the first and second world war. My seven year old daughter loved it too and she has no interest in war novels.

The main attraction here was the actual military hardware on display, including some naval ship guns, surface to air missiles and, perhaps most interesting, the actual bunkers and gun emplacements built into the side of the hill from the Victoria era onwards. There are some great views to be had of the harbour. While you are here, make sure you... More

we found it very interesting to see the place where Albany was being protected,, the guns were amazing and could imagine men using them. Just to walk around and take in all the information on hand was great, its part of the ANZAC museum and well worth the time to see.

Well worth a visit for any age. They have some lovely walking trails to show off the old war guns, tunnels etc which are more than doable for most fitness levels. The views from the top are just stunning.

From the Garrison barracks building opposite the carpark, along the Convoy Walk to the convoy lookout and around magazine and battery posts, the entire area is well laid out and full of interesting sights. The lookout provides stunning views, the concrete magazine rooms and various bunkers are fun to explore, while the range of naval guns, torpedoes and missiles are... More
