We arrived late in the day, but nothing was an issue, the food excellent, the spring rolls very tasty, the burger and chips great, we were shown the live Maron's and had a long chat with the owner, ( showing, cancer won't beat her ) and we were amazed at how tough the authorities make it for them to eke out a living, please support this business, they deserve a pat on the back for having a dam good go ....

Full points for both the fish & chips, and the succulent green lip mussels. Both excellently prepared and presented. The only thing that was upsetting was when we finished. My partner had to have the pecan pie (house made) to console himself. Of course he was upset when he finished as well.

Just happened upon this restaurant and animal farm and really enjoyed it. Amazing Akoya Oysters Bloody Mary style and delicious Greek filo cake Soufra. A total surprise!

Loved seeing the birds, rabbits, fish and marron too.

After discovering Little Beach the day was complete with a fantastic lunch of Marron and Turkish delight inspired baklava ( not sure how else to describe it) .Great food and Smiling service at the Old Marron farm. On a cold and windy day the wood heater was welcome. Best food in Albany .

We did the Segway tour around the farm and what a wonderful experience it was to zip through the paddocks and bush path. Even saw some kangaroos. Highly recommend for a family with teenagers. We had been to the animal enclosures beforehand and loved feeding them and being surrounded by the birds. We finished our afternoon with milkshakes and cake which were delicious -plus they have gluten free and non-dairy options too. Definitely recommend a visit here.

Was looking forward to a great lunch and the kids to enjoy the animals however after ordering both families discovered we were charged an extra $1 per order (there was no mention of a surcharge and it was a week day not public holiday), I was disappointed by the size of the Maron for $32 which was smaller than a yabbie, we ordered the pie of the day which we were tolled was butter chicken but it was beef something, the meals in general were tasteless and over priced and the Cesar salad, which was a massive bowl of lettuce came with one tenderloin cut in 3, came out after everyone else had finished eating. The flies inside were out of control with no preventive for them. Totally understand the charge to see and feed the animals but would be nice if it was a bonus for those buying a sit down meal. Overall a tad disappointing.

We had the Marron. It was well prepared and tasted great. Followed this up with an excellent coffee and carrot cake (him) & pot of Australian Breakfast Tea and German Apple cake (me). Cakes are made in house and are REALLY nice.

Lovely walk around the birds and animal farm. Lots of cheeky and very friendly lorikeets. We had the platter for two which delicious and decently priced given the amount of of food, including marron. Coffee was also good and the staff were lovely. Would recommend bringing a bottle of wine out for lunch.

We found this place by chance and were so glad we did!

There isn’t a marron farm anymore but there are plenty of other animals to see and feed at the farm. Donkeys, horses, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, chooks. They roam around in the cage which you can walk in which allows you to pick them up and have a cuddle too. There were baby guinea pigs when we went which were super cute

The food you can get there is lovely too, I don’t eat marron but my partner does a lot and he said it was very good. I just had wedges which were nice and fresh too.

Was a great find and we were very happy we got to visit

Only thing was I thought if you brought lunch the animal farm part should of been included. It’s $9 per adult, and you get a very small bowl to feed the animals
