A thouroughly enjoyable morning made all the better by the Pauls interesting and entertaining commentary.
The boat is a good size, stable and comfortable especially in the Ocean Swells. She motors at a good speed which enabled us to cover a good distance in the 3.5hrs in which we saw a whale breaching, dolphins, seals and albatross.
We will defintely return.

Thank you tp Paul & Emma for a fantastic morning out on the Ocean.
Regardless of whether we did or didn’t see Whales it would have been money well spent. Thankfully we saw two pods of Dolphins as well as spending lots of time in the company ot two Southern Right Whales.
Paul was a mine of wonderful information on te history of Whales & Whaling in Albany.
We especially appreciated the scenic ride back to the harbour post seeing the Whales.
A fabulous morning - Thank You.

Paul was an excellent skipper. He always positioned the boat such that the folks at the bow has the best view. We had reached the end of our cruise and were on our way back to harbour when he spotted more whales. He let us continue watching the whales frolic with the dolphins resulting in late return. That was the best and closest encounter we had. Kudos to Paul and his team.

Rang Paul a few days prior to gauge our chances of seeing whales and he told me there was next to no chance. Based on that honesty I decided to book anyway for a bit of a tour. Whales had been spotted on the morning of the tour and sure enough he took us straight to them and we lingered for plenty of time. Dolphins swam with the boat on our return which was the icing on the cake. Great experience.

"A scenic cruise with a chance of seeing whales"
Jason, Thank you for your review. Yes it can be a difficult time and we never quite know what to expect.
Easier to be honest than to try and explain things at the end of a cruise and have people think I was trying to rip them off..
And I think its a nice cruise even with out seeing whales.

We booked a cruise for Tuesday July 13th 2021. Unfortunately, due to severe weather, Paul wisely advised us that the trip had to be cancelled and that we’d get a full refund. We asked him to hang o to the funds and advise us if the weather permitted before the following Friday, when we had to leave Albany. The weather was safe to cruise so off we went. Although we didn’t see a whale the experience was fantastic. Paul and his offsider (can’t remember her name) were great hosts. The young lady was especially helpful and caring when my daughter (8) got a bit seasick. Paul even went so far to tell us (the passengers on the day) to keep our tickets and come back again for free to have another go this season, just because we didn’t see a whale and he wanted us to have that experience. We will be back and we will decline his offer of a freebie and instead pay. Excellent service needs to be rewarded.

David Thank you for your kind words. I think we have found them on all but a couple so far this year. Saying that we have not done as many cruises as any year before as the weather has been a little Arctic!! Cheers Paul

We have wanted to do a whale watching tour for a while now since being in WA and Albany Ocean Adventures did not disappoint.
Paul and his crew are excellent operators. Knowledgeable fun and friendly and safe.
We were supposed to go on the Saturday but the weather was terrible Paul sent me a message Friday evening saying the cruise was too dangerous to go so gave several options to either cruise another day or refund money we decided to wait until Sunday to try again and glad we did. 😀
Saw two southern right whales a cow and a cub. Was spectacular to see dolphins and seals too.
If your going in cooler months make sure you rug up was windy and cold lol. 🥶

Paul and Corinne took us out and worked so hard to ensure we had the best experience ever. I have no idea how many litres of diesel Paul used to find the whales but, find them he did. About 10 Southern Right Whales over a period of nearly 60 minutes. Breathtaking. Thankyou.

Loved all of the trip and highly recommend it to everyone! Paul's commentary about landscape features, vessels, birds and the magnificent whales was very interesting. What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. I lost count of the number of whales seen but think it may have been 10. We saw them at a distance and quite closeby even underwater but I suggest you take your polaroid sunglasses to see them well. Also, if you have a good camera with a telephoto lens you will be rewarded. My phone photos didn't capture the excitement!

Captain Paul was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions we had for him. The light morning tea was appreciated and we all had an amazing day out. Saw lots of whales and even got treated to a show to whales breeching. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to see the whales.

A super cruise into King Georges Sound to witness the migration of some Humpback whales. Our skipper, Paul put us near some very active common dolphins and then onto some cruising Humpbacks. An amazing and fulfilling 3 hours.
