The staff at the visitor center were very pleasant. We booked private holiday accommodation through them, but the experience was not great. We rented the Sanar Apartments on Middleton Beach and had a number of challenges, faulty appliances, poor cleaning, no wi-fi and no air conditioning. The contact name we were provided to assist us was in fact the owner... More

Just went in for directions and managed to get a really really helpful lady who loved maps. What we wanted in every way. The centre is very easy to find, plenty of parking and delightfully renovated as a tourist centre from the old railway station. Well organised and lots to look at and help always nearby.

Went in with no idea where to go, left with a map and a mind full of ideas. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Thank you for making this trip one to remember.

Helpful staff, we went to go Saturday but it looked closed, went the next day and realised it's just the building but could do with better signage to say it's open

Popped in to collect the usual array of tourist pamphlets. Make sure you ask for help if you need it - very helpful staff, with plenty of good advice to share - just what a visitor centre should do!

Very helpful staff, plenty of information about surrounding areas, love the location right on the foreshore and its always good when one of the grain trains comes in they are popular with the kids because they are so long! Also a bus terminal.

An excellent information centre, with friendly, helpful staff. There are lots of displays to wander, while waiting for the Brig Amity Tour. The children learnt a lot about the history of the area while we were there.
