We did the wave rider tour. Our tour guide, John, was excellent, and obviously loves what he does. It was pretty rough the day we went out but felt safe at all times and we all enjoyed it (even our six year old). A couple of times our daughter got a bit scared and straight away John slowed down. We... More

Really liked Albany. Very windy but as long as you are prepared for that it is a great place to visit. The beaches are beautiful. Water is so clear. Will definitely go back.

Hi Balibagus2. Thank you for the review, but not really sure you came out on a tour with us as you don't mention the vessels. Glad you enjoyed Albany, nevertheless. Cheers John, Forrest and crew More

We were fortunate enough to go out with Forrest and John (The owners) on Valentines day for a sunset cruise. Normally numbers determine if the boat goes out but they decided to take just 8 of us out on the most amazing, awesome cruise around the coast. We got wet, we were freezing but it was fantastic. The islands and... More

Thank you radar424, for taking the time to give us a great review. We are so glad you enjoyed the cruise, despite the unseasonable weather, and we hope to see you again when we have some better weather. Cheers, John, Forrest and crew More

What an experience! John, our tour guide, was friendly, knowledgeable and obviously loved his job. We were blessed with calm waters and sunshine. The boat is quite small and seats snug (so you feel secure) but very stable and safe. The ride was not as rough as I had imagined but still thrilling and the scenery amazing. Would highly recommend... More

What an excellent ride. This was more than I expected, and well worth it. Speed, wind , salt spray, along with some slow cruising close to the rocks and islands, with great commentary from an experienced knowledgable skipper, then hugging the coast line sometimes at speed, sometimes slow cruising past swimmers. We aged from 15 to 50, and we all... More

Hi Anna. Boy! you have amazing ability to capture the moment with your description. Thanks very much. Perhaps the 'tea and bikkies brigade' could come out on our Twilight Cruises on our sailing catamaran, Sail-A-Way.....or wait till they have an appetite hungry for adventure! Cheers, John, Forrest and crew. More

If you want an unforgettable full 5 senses experience, this is it! We had a perfect day, a hint of white caps on the ocean, clear blue sky, temp in mid 20sC. Our wise guide gave us all the tips about how to ride the Wave Rider (sit further back in the boat for a smoother ride - what's a... More

Fanastic tour. Thrill seekers will love it. Kids are 9 and 11 and felt nervous on arrival. They loved it so much they have done nothing but talked about it for the last 3 days. Best way to see the the coast line from a diferent perspective. Not to mention I loved the wizzy! John is a wealth of knowledge... More

This is a MUST DO when here in Albany, we went on a sunset cruise with our host and skipper Forrest and John, what a way to end the week and talk about value for money $40 for a 2 hour cruise with something to eat and drink, this was defiantly one of our highlights of our trip, Thank you... More

Lovely people who make the trip worth going, but a slow boat and no whales. The whales is not their fault of course, but they only have one spotter on the main land who can not see the whole area.

Hi Sam M. Thank you for your review. However, I believe you have misunderstood what was mentioned on the tour. Our spotters can see over the entire Sound, but of course they cannot see what is on the far side of any islands. We receive information also from spotter planes. There were no whales in the Sound on the day... More

We started our whale tour with the skipper giving us all the do's and don'ts (in a funny way) before we even set sail from the dock. This was good as everyone learnt some things including the skipper's dry humour! Although our trip was cut short by one of the guests who felt sick when we were out in the... More
