The Amity is a replica of the first vessel to colonise Western Australia. It is full size and can be walked on to show the cramped conditions the early convicts and settlers endured from the Eastern States.

on seeing this ship it appears small for the amount of people that it brought to Albany AS a replica it is very good

This authentic reconstruction is a must-see. Three decks to view with an excellent audio commentary it brings alive the history of the men who came to settle Albany and how they managed. Highly reccommended

Not expensive at all! Just the price as much as a coffee! With a sense of the history of the convicts that came to Albany. With an idea of what life was on the Amity back in the day. Don't miss out on this site.!

I didn't think I would enjoy this attraction but I was wrong. The 'phones' that you get with the commentary about The Brig are informative without being long and boring. Well worth the trip.
