Old Farm, Strawberry Hill was considered old more than 100 years ago. As far back as 1890 it was given the name The Old Farm, in recognition of being the oldest farm in Western Australia,established even before the Swan River Colony.A Government Farm was established at Strawberry Hill in 1827 as part of the first European settlement at King George Sound.

Entry fee is by donation. You can see the conservation effort put into this place. Makes me travel back in time and see how the Spencer and Bird family lived.

Keep your eye out for the driveway as this farmhouse is amongst all the houses and is quite hidden. Worth a visit. Entry by donation. So much character about the building and really times haven't change that much. Bedrooms upstairs furnished from the past. Once...More

You do have to look out for that driveway turn! It's a special place - thanks for visiting.

This is exhibit reflects WA history. It is a good example of colonial architecture and the rambling gardens reflect autumn. It was a quick visit It is a good place to show kids the simplicity of living in the past.

We loved seeing Strawberry Hill after renovations. It's looking really good. Wendy, the volunteer was fantastic-very enthusiastic and added a lot to our visit. A special person to have at a special house. Highly recommend a visit here.
