It offers good surfing, sheltered corner with shark nets and pontoon, beautiful views to the islands, long beach walks and bike rides (push bikes), good location between Emu Point to centre of town and opportunity to have a coffee/meal on both ends.

This is a truly great beach. Closed to the old town and near to many restaurants, yet pristine and uncrowded. A few miles of white sandy beach, perfect water and it has even a large enclosure to swim for shark protection.

This beach is easy to reach, has an enclosed area to keep sharks out, an off road wheelchair is available by making a phone call (there a big green safe near the beach with the phone number written on it, security will bring the keys). Mostly clean and has bins by the walkway, which can be used for jogging, and... More

Glad we visited on a weekday and when windy. I can only imagine how busy this area must get in summer although, without walking too far, I'm sure its spread out sand will always provide space. An area is netted to keep sharks out and swimmers out of reach. On our visit the waters seems very calm and safe for... More

Simply perfect, Middleton Beach is a beach worth meeting. Pristine, it is adorned by Norfolk Island Pines, lush lawns, fantastic eateries, play grounds, shaded terraced picnic spots, picturesque jetty, a boardwalk which rises up and follows the spectacular headland for several kilometres. Make time to explore and play at Middleton Beach.

Just missed sunrise and was a little bit surprised to find a lot of people already at the beach with many activities; jogging, walking, swimming, boating, fishing...

Really beautiful spot with turquoise sea and white sand. Good facilities for toilets and showers. A few cafes and restaurants adjacent to the beach. Definitely worth stopping a while or taking a swim in the area protected by netting which is ideal for families.
