Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

This is a gem. The visitor's centre is open 10 am to 4 pm, and is very informative and interesting. This is site where there a populations of endangered species - the Noisy Scrub Bird, and Gilbert's Potoroo.
We then walked from there to the beach, which has great views. Not the beach where you swim, which is at the Little Beach - one of the best beaches in Australia

To reach Two Peoples Bay Nature Reserve from Albany you have to cross the Lower King Bridge, above the narrow arm of the sea of Shell Bay, then take the Nanarup Rd and finally the Two Peoples Bay Rd. At a certain point on Two Peoples Bay Rd you will come across a sign indicating the parking and visitor centre on one side and the boat launching on the other. We followed the boat launching direction and 20m later we found the road sign for Little Beach. About 1km after the road began to descend while the asphalt ends just before the parking loop. Along the short staircase that goes down to the beach is the public toilet. The sand was white and deserted with two large granite rocks in the middle of the beach. At the south end of this not-so-large beach there are large flat granite rocks that separate it from the tiny Waterfall Beach. The extremely transparent water and the blue of the sea were an invitation to swim. When we left the car park and drove back we decided to follow the boat launching direction. This road ends on a beach that, near the boat launching area, was literally covered with a layer of posidonia leaves that was over half a meter high. Posidonia (Posidonia oceanica) is a genus of flowering plants that live on the sea floor only in the Mediterranean and in the Great Australian Bight. It is therefore a true underwater plant with roots, leaves and fruits, very different from the algae which are attached to the bottom rocks with suckers. Great source of life, these underwater forests when hit by stormy sea waves lose many leaves that literally cover the beaches on which they settle and, if they do not dry out quickly, the smell they emit is intense and unpleasant. Shortly before the access to the beach there is a parking area for boat trolleys, toilets and signs listing the rules and safety systems needed on board the boats. On our way back to Two Peoples Bay Rd near Gardner Lake and then near Moates Lake three times large Rosenberg's monitors (Varanus rosenbergi) crossed our road. In fact, in addition to the beaches, this important natural reserve of over 47 km2 offers refuge to some mammal and reptile species which have now become very rare. A very important nature reserve.

Having been coming to this beach for over 6 years, on and off, this beach, in the last 2 year's, has become utterly disgusting. Seems the Enviro-mental-ists may have taken over, allowing piles of seaweed, atleast 2 years worth, accumulate on the beach to the point the gorgeous soft sand is now disappeared under it and the stench of it all rotting is almost unbearable.
Sad to see.
Local enviro office, take note!!

Waist of time and fuel !
Small sign at the turn off?
After driving almost all the way in you find out there is an entrance fee to see what you can see and enjoy almost all the way around the WA coast
Don’t bother ,go some where else on your day out.

Little Beach, what a fantastic place to see! White sands and very sheltered. Some jellyfish washed up on to the beach but doesn’t change my thoughts on this being one of the best beaches I have ever visited

There should be advice on the road into the Nature Reserve........
1. That there is a fee to enter
2. That the fee is $15.00
3. That you can only pay by debit/credit card.....no cash
We visited and found that after 14km in on the road there is a fee station asking for $15.00 per car/per day and only payable by debit/credit card.
Not good enough!!!!!!!!!!!

Two People's Nature Reserve is about 30kms east of Albany's townsite. Follow Lower King Road towards Nanarup to Two People's Bay Road on your left if heading from Albany. The sign post is quite small and is not marked with a brown tourist attraction sign. It is probably due to it's lack of signage that Two People's Bay lives up to it's name. On my recent visit in May, apart from the ranger we were the only 2 people visiting that morning. On previous visits again apart from our own family, we did not meet any other travellers. This seclusion adds to the beauty of the area, to be one with nature.
A recent addition to the reserve is a parking station fee for entering the national park. It was $8 for pensioners or $13 for a car. The cost of admission helps to improve the services available in the reserve. just to get spectacular photos and have nature to yourself it is well worth the price.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions the small discovery centre with displays was closed. Along a pathway through the bush near the discovery centre is a picnic area with tables and barbecues. There is also a public toilet near the picnic grounds if needed. The grounds are on the edge of a beach. In the past I have been lucky to spot a potoroo in this bushwalking to the beach. I wasn't lucky enough to spot one on this occasion.
You can either take a bush walk, or a short drive from the main discovery area carpark to Little Beach. It is a lovely bay with granite outcrops and beautiful white sandy beaches. There is a pathway down to the beach and also onto the granite rocks out into the ocean. Again there is a public toilet available if needed at this beach.
A must visit, especially if you wish to enjoy a beach in relative solitude. Even during stormy weather it was enjoyable.

If you feel up to walking across sand, and clambering over mountains of seagrass, you will be rewarded in reaching a secluded rocky outcrop of huge granite boulders which will protect you from the prevailing winds of the nearby beaches. Sand was whipping up which made it impossible to relax on a deckchair on the more open bay and so we grabbed our belongings and ventured further around the corner. It was soooooo worth the hike because we had the whole place to ourselves and despite the wind, we were hidden behind this unique landscape, enjoying secluded swimming, sunbathing and shelter.....perfect for any romantic couple!

What a stunning nature reserve, as you enter you pay 13 dollars to enter the reserve, card is accepted here. Little beach and it’s surrounds are absolutely stunning and wandering around this reserve was very enjoyable. Toilets are easily accessible.

If you want to see and experience a great attraction visit Little Beach situated in Two People Bay Nature Reserve. A secluded beach suitable for swimming and fishing. A cost of $13 or $9 concession per car is applicable and no cash can be used must be credit card. Well worth it.
