Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place is - effectively - combined with the Australian Surfing Museum. It's free to enter the info centre but not the Museum. There are the usual local tourist tat on offer here - mostly with a coastal bent at Torquay styles itself quite the surfie town. There are the usual brochures and flyers and the staff were quite relaxed and helpful upon my visit. So if you have randomly lobbed into Torquay and don't know where to start then this place can probably help.

But lets face it, you'll visit this place by default on your trip to the Surfing Museum....

Toquay Visitor Information Centre is a great place to pick up some information about what's on offer in Torquay; there's more than surfing. Also, it's a great place to pick up some bits and pieces as a souvenir of your visit.

Thank you for your kind review. At the Torquay Visitor Information Centre we pride ourselves on friendly customer service and advice on the Surf Coast region. Located at the beginning of the Great Ocean Road, we are the first stop on your visit to collect your free maps, brochures and local knowledge. On your next visit, don't forget to visit the Australian National Surfing Museum located within the Torquay Visitor information Centre. The ANSM is the largest musuem of it's kind in the world and the only accredited surfing museum, the perfect place to explore Australia's surfing heritage. Once again, thank you for your kind review and we look forward to seeing you again.

The Torquay Information Centre is a great place to get some information about the local area and attractions. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. There are lots of locally made souvenirs, such as candles, tshirts etc on sale. A highlight is the Local artist Showcase window. Every six weeks a new artist is showcased with work for sale. Support the local artists if you are looking for a unique gift.

My friend and I came to visit this information center to ask the direction to Erskine falls. The volunteers are very helpful to provide us with information how to get to Erskine falls and other falls and more places to visit.
