Their facials and massage packages are divine. The day spa environment is so relaxing, the products are amazing and gentle for my sensitive skin and I always leave glowing. It was certainly therapeutic with the perfect pressure and attention to all my sore knots and stiff back & shoulders. Looking forward to returning to try their float tank before my next massage. A massage leaves a person in a vulnerable position. The young girl I had massage me neither had the maturity or experience needed.
I am a large woman (around 16-18) I get that makes some others uncomfortable, not the beauty norm, but the last thing I want to be made to feel when mostly naked and paying for a relaxing treatment. The girl was uncomfortable and I could feel every second of it.
Cold oil was spilled along my back or on my sides making me jerk my back awkwardly which was not comfortable ( She had cold hands which continued the icing affect). The dribbling continued with cold oil behind the knee cap. Squelching other oils next to my ear was not comfortable.
She worked across my body her material from her shirt lightly touch one side of me while she tried to figure out how to 'massage' the other side. I have had many massages before and this has never before been an issue. Even after making it clear this was disruptive by repeatedly moving my hand in between fabric and body she did not alter her method.
She then proceeded to twist my arm behind my back (imagine the 'you are under arrest manoeuvre) and I had to pin it there even though it was an incredibly uncomfortable position and my arm started shaking. When she tried the other side I made an objecting sound and she asked what was wrong and I said it was a REALLY uncomfortable position and she just said ' oh yeah some people can't hold it there' - would you not read the first time when I was wiggling and clearly uncomfortable to change your style?

The arm massage consisted of shaking my arm... just no.
The foot massage was wrapping foot poking for a second and unwrapping foot - clearly a bit foot phobic too. Having someone clearly hate touching feet, at a massage place,not comfortable.
Coming to a spa looking forward to a massage but without aches and getting up from a massage WITH aches and pains is darn right ridiculous. The jerking and flexing triggered lower back pain I have not felt for years. not comfortable.
When asked 'how I felt' and i replied' actually a bit achy and sore now' quickly leaving the room leaving the other person to try to deal with it by saying 'oh you should have said she could have used deep heat' (remember i wasn't sore BEFORE) then walking off to make tea and is not great service.
I could go on. I wanted to leave early on but with my daughter also having a facial in the same room, I didn't want two gifts wasted.
So what did I think of the work experience kiddo working on my body?
I absolutely hated it.
Do not do this to another person. Just 2 weeks ago I brought another friend along and we did facials they were lovely. The girl, Kelly who worked with my daughter was lovely.
But this was out of town terrible and all I got was a condescending smile at the end and sore back as I left, and a very sour taste in my mouth.
I was asked to write a review but I privately messaged them instead, they didn't bother with a reply so I comply with their request for a review.

I have been here many times and loved it HOWEVER.... I recently called to book in again to use a voucher that I had been given, and was told that this could not be used on a Sunday. Even though they charge an additional surchasrge on Sundays - which I was ok with - apparently vouchers could not be redeemed because they couldn't cover the cost of their staff. I am sorry but that is total crap! A voucher is cash paid on a previous day to use in the future. It has nothing to do with covering your costs as you charge the surcharge. I am incredibly disappointed in there attitude towards customers who have purchased vouchers. Also this was not mentioned at the time of purchase. This is also particularly disappointing since it is very difficult for me to get there any other day. I will no longer be recommending SaltAir.

What a wonderful relaxing afternoon with Netty today at saltair! A wrap and 90 minute massage was divine. Feeling so good and so relaxed. ( I am sure I was snoring) highly recommend to anyone who needs some me time.

I just had the most amazing 2 hour treatment at Saltair health spa, which included a 1 hour relaxation massage and a 1 hour luxury facial. The products they used were beautiful and the staff gorgeous. I floated out of there.

I had a beautiful facial at Saltair spa. My therapist Tyra was very attentive and took the time to understand my requests for the treatment. The spa environment is just amazing, friendly staff, stunning location and the overall feel is very luxurious and relaxing. My skin has never felt better, I can’t wait to visit again soon. Thank you Saltair and thank you Tyra!

My partner and I needed a well overdue massage , so whilst visiting Torquay stopped by Saltair.
The staff were very welcoming.
The place smelt divine, decor on point.
The two ladies looking after us made us feel very comfortable.
We had a choice of 3 different types of oils, peaceful music playing in the background, massage tailored to your needs.
Other services suggested but not pushed.
Highly recommended for the location, professionalism , dignified service and the euphoria post.

Staff accommodated a group of us and made sure the payment was sorted for a friends birthday so she didn't have to worry about anything. Staff were professional and well mannered. The whole place was very clean - my only complaint is that our time went too fast! The drive in is stunning - green hills and skyline.

An absolutely incredible experience, the staff are all so friendly, knowledgeable and informative.
Today I experienced a first for me…a 30 minute float therapy session followed by a 2hr deep restorative package.
I felt instantly relaxed by the float therapy, weightless and all tension in my body was released before my incredible massage.
Many thanks to all the staff at Saltair for their professionalism and genuine friendliness.
Very highly recommended.
I am already looking forward to returning soon.

I am someone that has massages regularly but often find them hit and miss because I have complex back/health issues. I had Netty do my treatment just now who I believe has just started and previously ran her own Myotherapy clinic. She was AMAZING! Perfect touch and nature and navigated all my pain spots and used correct pressure. Will definitely be back to see her again đź‘Ť

One of my favourite day spas in the Bellarine/Surf Coast area. Beautiful treatments, beautiful views and lovely service. Waterfall style showers! Treat yourself and come here when you need pampering.
I’ve also been with a couple of friends as a group, and we were all incredibly relaxed afterwards.
