I have found my tribe!! I am local to the surfcoast and have been trying to get into surfing for 10 years but had never found an affordable and reliable way to get regular surf coaching! Honu honi is all that and more! I have learnt so much in the 6 week winter progressive program and I am so looking forward to the spring waves and the social events! Honu honi is a very welcoming surf community like no other and I love being part of it!Thank you Becks! You are a legend! ❤️

An amazing surf school. Becks is such a wonderful teacher, not only does she give you really useful tips and guidance but she is also super encouraging, positive and fun. I would 100% recommend lessons with Becks.

Such an amazing experience. I highly recommend Honu Honi Surf Camp/School. I have never surfed before and to be honest was a little anxious about giving it a go. I have had such an amazing 6 weeks learning to surf. You are so well supported. Everything from education about surf conditions to how to surf is covered in the lessons. All equipment and education included is of high quality. You won't regret becoming part of the Honu Honi family!
Thanks Becks and crew for making such an amazing program and creating so much more than ‘just a surf lesson’.

I took on the Autumn Waves program and had an absolute blast. Becky was the most amazing instructor. Nothing is ever to much and she made all sessions so much fun full of learning.
I hooked up with some others from the course and now head out whenever possible.
I will definitely be back for another course at some time.

Now this is what a surf family feels like and what a way to share it all, yoga, breakfast and a surf lesson! What a generous and giving soul is Becks! A great way to meet people and share learning to surf. Becks is an incredibly insightful teacher who really pinpoints what you need to do next to keep adding to the fun on the waves!

Gemma helped us wake up and warm up with yoga, Becks prepared a delicious breaky and her encouragement and good communication meant everyone was able to learn, improve and enjoy surfing. A small group means personal help is available, and the location is glorious.
I went the first week, but it was so good I booked in for the next Saturday too.

I did the 6 week Winter Waves program for complete beginners on Saturday mornings. Don't let the winter weather put you off, when you're in a wetsuit you don't feel the cold - Honi Honu supply them and surfboards or you can bring your own. Becks is a great instructor and the locations are picturesque. The 2-hour lesson duration is perfect and our group was surfing waves from the first lesson. This was just the motivation I needed to get out there and become a regular surfer. Thanks Becks!

What an absolutely delightful experience. Beautiful accommodation, the tents are lovely and spacious, even on a warm day it wasn't too hot in the park. Great location, walking distance to every thing you might want to check out in Torquay.
The surf lessons were fantastic, so much patience and attention given to us in the surf - with some great beach craft lessons, and discussions about surf conditions etc. I am fortunate to have grown up in the open water, but for people who haven't been in the surf much before, they make learning about how to navigate open water, waves, rips and currents really easy to understand.
It is such a wonderful experience, if you're looking to have a really active time, or to have a surf and a relax down the beautiful surf coast, these folks will be able to provide a great trip - and keep you well fed, smiling, and feeling a million bucks for having done it!

From beginning to end, our surf trip was magical and the essence of wellness.
The day began early however, with Becky as our chauffeur and tour guide, we were able to sit back and relax as we travelled from the city to the surf coast.
The surfing lesson was so much fun and I was pretty stoked to be able to stand up on the board. Lunch was absolutely delicious, healthy and nourishing after a morning of exercise.
The tranquil walk to a waterfall really topped off a beautiful day. Unfortunately we ran out of time for yoga but you can bet I will be back for that!
Thank you Becky and Honu Honi for the opportunity to get out of my comfort zone and spend some time on myself. It was a day that I will never forget and I highly recommend Honu Honi for their hospitality and adventure.

WOW! i loved this experience! I'm new to yoga and surfing so this was a great trip for someone like me to be apart of! Becky was a brilliant instructor/host/cook (amazing cous cous salad). Would love to take part in more of beckys trips!
