Staying at Trawool Estate and they served ud wines by Sam. We called to Seymour and noticed the winery in town as we drove in so dropped in for a coffeee and a wine tasting.
Didnt realise this is still actually the original Plunket winery family who always make great wines in this area. They had a food van outside on a Saturday as well.
Nice tasting bought some of the wines, really nice whites also a very approachable cabernet.

Great little gem of a spot. Sam really knows how to make a good wine. The ferment vats are tucked behind the cellar door. Yummy cheese platter with mixed olives, currents and a nice pickle. And they do a great coffee.

The cheeses and share boards are simply divine. Have these with a cheeky glass of excellent wine and you are set for the day (or night).
Special mention to the Italian Waitress who left Venice for Seymour (still trying to figure that one out!). She was delightful :)

Stopped in for a quick wine tasting and was simply delighted. Halo was fantastic, as were the other offerings. I left with wine and dessert, which was a real treat later on. Worth the stop!

I was there as part of a private function. Bronwyn & Sam are fabulous hosts and their team very courteous and helpful.
The venue is warm and inviting. I will definitely go back.

What a wonderful tour guide we had today in Mark, he took us behind the scenes to see all the different wines and processes involved in making all types of wines. Such friendly and knowledgeable staff I highly recommend booking this tour

Wine X Sam is a little different from your usual winery, being based in an urban environment with grapes sourced from a number of adjacent regions. It's a very friendly place and our server, Brittany, did a great job of taking us through a wine tasting. The wine range is small but with an interesting variety - something to please everyone. We particularly liked the Riesling and Primitivo. Prices are very reasonable.

Stopped in today for a tasting and the most fantastic cheese and pate platter. The staff here are delightful, Imogen was the perfect hostess. and the wines exceptional - must try the Riesling and the Victorian Shiraz is a standout also. Drop in - you won’t be disappointed!

This is almost local for me (well, 35 minutes from home) and provides dependably good day-time food, wine and service well after other providers have closed the kitchen.
Wine X Sam is a particularly important destination if you enjoy shiraz.
Everything tastes FRESH. The artisan arancini balls are perfect. The winemakers lunch provides a wonderful mix of tasty bites to complement the wine.

Had a great experience here, lovely range of Wine to taste. Cheese board was great value Phoebe and Bruce made me feel very welcome. Located in the middle of Seymour plenty of parking and easy walk from train station
