This is a nice spot to get out of the winter weather and enjoy viewing different books and art selection from the surrounding area.

Thanks for this very kind review, Marc! We like to think we're a "must stop" destination, especially as winter sets in.

A book place with a difference. This is a well set up place in which to browse for books both new and second hand. Great spot to spend a comfortable few hours during a stormy winter's day. If you are a bookophile this is the...More

Thank you for such a lovely review! The building used to be a Masonic Hall, and then just before we took it over it was a New Life Church and Youth Centre. Sadly, we had to take out the bowling alley!

Jo has created such a warm and inviting space in her bookshop and gallery. I highly recommend a visit if you’re in Port Fairy. Lovely place to browse and great selection of books. Brilliant kids’ area too!

I love bookshops but this one is unique. A huge selection of - occasionally eclectic - second hand books, art books and all kinds of artistic ephemera make an - albeit temporary - sojourn at Blarneys seem like an excursion into an Aladdin's cave. It's...More

Fabulous range of used books as well as new. Comfy chairs to sit and read, and art gallery as well. Very helpful and friendly staff.

The amazing chairs in our shop are by local artist Liz Gannon of Gannon Art - they certainly add much to the shop! Thank you for the very kind review!

Great range of books, new and used. But there is more to this place than books. Wonderful art works on the walls in interestingly upholstered chairs throughout. I could easily have spent hours in this place and come back the next day. The owner is...More

Thank you for such a lovely review! We are off the beaten track, so each and every review helps! We do figure that the true bookworms will find us though. Bookworms are generally pretty smart!

Paul, this is an incredibly kind and generous review. Amazing that you have the time to do this given your amazing business - Shipahoys Antiques - and the fact that you're support crew to your extremely talented daughter! Thank you.
