Peace!
Jan. 2020
A lovely quiet spot to camp only 6 minutes from Port Fairy. Very affordable, good toilet facilities. 1 minute from the beach, go to sleep listening to the waves. Beach is fantastic for kids, minimal waves and water is slightly warmer than the sea due to being trapped in a lagoon not more than a couple of metres deep. Great walk along the beach into Port Fairy if you have a fine morning. Loads of seabirds.

Beautiful beach and great campground
Jun. 2019 • Couples
We visit here to stay at the campground which is a short walk from the beach. We have been and stayed here before and it is a great spot. The beach is beautiful and is a short distance from both Warrnambool and Port Fairy. Lots of rabbits and very large rats can be found in the sand dunes.

Beautiful quiet beach
Apr. 2019 • Family
Located under 10 mins from Port Fairy with an easy turn off the A1 and then about a 1.2km drive, this beach is relatively quiet but beautiful. Municipal caravan park nearby and a large free car park just behind. Lovely setting for a walk.

Hidden Gem
Mar. 2019
This beach is fantastic. It is great for doing so many activities. There is a rock pool area along part of it which results in a shallow wave free area suitable for stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and kids for swimming. There weren’t many people here when we went so I think it a bit of a hidden gem.
The beach is clean and beautiful. The water is really clear and an amazing colour. You can see blue star fish on the rocks.
I don’t understand the review where is says it’s getting ruined? I think that’s been put on the wrong location.
There’s limited shade here so bring your own shade tent. Dogs are not allowed on the beach over the summer period.
One of the nicest beaches in the area and worth a visit. There’s a caravan park next to the beach which would be a great place to stay from what we could see. It was $30 for a powered site and $25 for unpowered.

Go at your own risk. No share of prize money goes to saving this beautiful piece of cost line. Visit and take photos of the havoc caused.

A beautiful hidden beach
Sep. 2018 • Couples
This beach is very secluded and a fantastic walking beach. You are also protected from the surf due to a reef. Lovely clear water and unusual shells to see on your walk. Would be very safe for little ones to paddle by the shore as nice and shallow. At the right time, a good place to fish but we did not have any luck in that department!!

Dive to Killarney Beach

This is a very quiet beach to visit where you can walk for miles in a serene area. The beach is very clean and easy to absorb as your mind wanders. Camping is also available for those who need it.
