Mini golf with young kids - area is a bit dated and needs some TLC. A few potential areas for injury to young children.
Hole 9 needs speeding up as it holds up too many players following.

Wasn't sure about spending so much for something that only said takes 1.5-2hrs to do. So read some reviews and was mainly positive so decided to go. Well our family had a blast.
It was so much fun. We highly recommend it.
Make sure you read and look at everything and don't rush through.
The toys and food afterwards wernt that pricey either.
Definitely worth a look.

A awesome day spent at Amaze N Things , the sky trail was the highlight of my family especially my grandson Xander who was made most comfortable by Esthan on the trail, but shout out to Oscar.
The magic maze was wonderful experience, did the vertical slide and ticked a bucket list 😀. Thank you for a wonderful family day out

My 9 years old twins loved the skytrail
The staff were all friendly, especially Jane was amazing.
The Children were so scared and petrified but Jane guided them through the whole time and was very patient.
By the end of it they're hanging off the sides and laughing.
Well worth the money for an experienced.
Thanks Jane.

Highly recommended for families who are spending a few days on Philip Island and are looking for attentions to fill the day before penguin parade or after a morning walk in Nobbies. I wouldn’t ruin the surprise for you but our entire family was well entertained by the many installations on site. We didn’t expect the place to be so interactive and so much fun!!! We even ran out of the time and stayed until the place closed and didn’t have time for whacky golf.

It wasn't really the best for our group (4 adults and one 5 y/o). It was much more for kids than adults, we went on a Sat so it was very busy with very excited kids everywhere so it was very frantic. My niece enjoyed the magic section and some of the puzzles at the start. There's a games type room in the middle which I think would have been very good on a quieter day but there was a large group there that dominated a lot of the activities when we were in that bit. The maze was exciting for my niece, slightly traumatising for us adults. Didn't pay extra for the mini golf/sky walk as the price was steep enough for the adults. Niece was too small for the big chute as well so would probably say the target audience was kids aged about 6-10.

Came here with my young cousins. It had been at least 15 years since I had last been here and yet most of it seemed to be exactly the same. Aside from the prices which were much higher. We had fun but I don't think the experience was worth the cost. A lot of the exhibits in the illusion/puzzle section were out of order and looked like they had probably been out of order for months, maybe years?
It was lucky we got there right as it opened as there weren't many people there but by the time we left it was packed. So many people!
The Mini Golf was pretty good with some quite interesting holes.
We had lunch at the cafe and it was some of the most overpriced rubbish I have ever seen.

I’m from the U.K. & took my grandchildren (6 & 8 years) the puzzle room and magic room were ok but some of the exhibits weren’t working . We found the maze boring , just lots of lanes surrounded by high wooden fences . It was difficult to do given the fierce heat so we didn’t complete it as there was no shade anywhere within the maze
We were very disappointed to find you had to pay extra for the crazy golf and the sky trail , which is a rip off in my view

We had a great 2 hours here. There is enough to keep you entertained for the afternoon if you have the time. Highlights were the gravity room, puzzles, maze and magic room.

What a great morning! We spent a good 2.5hrs here. Playing mini golf took about an hour then the inside stuff and maze about 1m5hrs. Much more then I expected and the staff were fantastic!

Is this place suitable for a wet and rainy day? Are most attractions and activities indoors or so outdoors?
amazenthings

Yes, the bigger and better part of the activities are indoor, though we also have an outdoor minigolf, maze and Skytrail.

You could do A Maze'N Things in 1.5 hours - its the kind of place where the amount of time you spend, and how quickly you go through, is up to you. You can go through quickly or get distracted (like we did as we went through the time machine 3x it was sooo funny). We just did puzzle island, magic manor and the maze as it was raining on and off the day we went. The magic show wasn't on at times that worked for us. We went there to fill in a wet morning and ended up staying a lot longer than we expected as our 12 and 11 year old were really enjoying it.
I would leave off the outdoor maze if you are on time restrictions (just do the indoor stuff)... as the maze took us a while to find all 4 flags!

Can we bring in our own food? or are there cafes in the park?

There is a cafe, but the food looks a bit ordinary. I would recommend bringing your own food and eating near the playground. I brought food to eat outdoors and it wasn't an issue.

Hi Pauline. Though my Heritage is Dutch unfortunately I am not fluent so please forgive my English answer. Most of our customers are older but very young children still have a good time. Under 4yo are free of charge. We have a Childrens playground and free play area for the very young. Thanks Geoff
