It is a large expanse of water and possibly great for boating but the foreshore is not deeveloped at all and is not a great place to visit. The arwea visited had some grass and trees but full of weeds and rushes at the watewrline.

Wonderful lake, has free barbecue access with the botanical gardens at the back of the lake. Wonderful for all. There is also a bike path along the lake.
