Long drive out for not much there! The drought has been unkind to the wetlands. It was eerie seeing all the dead trees and vastness in between. Not a "must-see", but if you have the time and are wondering... then take the drive out.

The former Lake Mokoan is now the Winton Wetlands. The storage was decommissioned a few years ago and is now slowly regenerating back to a more natural state. Water levels are wholly dependent on the season, as such in Dec 2019, there is no water...More

Good scenic views with dead trees, flora and fauna. Great contrast of life and death for photographers lover. There is pretty interesting art around the wetlands.

I love this place!!........the café is fantastic, fast friendly service the food delicious. Kids love the flying fox. Great cakes and coffee too!

Magnificent art, lot of wild life. I spotted a few eagles. Lovely walks, they also rent bikes. There is a flying fox to keep the kids busy. They have an exquisite cafe with organic coffee, beautiful food and nice service. I highly recommend the smashed...More
