Beautiful Falls, Incredible walk

Liffey Falls are well worth the hike in. We started at the bottom car park, I understand there is a top one which starts you a bit closer. The walk takes you along the river and... read more

We were really looking forward to doing the longer walk to Liffey falls but when we arrived.. Road closed for human beans and cars. Went up to the upper car park to do the short walk instead, road also closed. So, be warned as parks tas didn't have this on the Liffey falls page. 😭😭😭😭😭

Liffey Falls are well worth the hike in. We started at the bottom car park, I understand there is a top one which starts you a bit closer. The walk takes you along the river and through some incredible pristine forests. The water was like glass it was remarkable. The path was mostly well kept with some big wooden bridges,... More

These falls are amazing! Not the biggest ones I've seen, but definitely one of the most beautiful. Don't miss it!

It was a great drive from Launceston to the Liffey Falls. The view of the mountains and houses was very picturesque. The only problem is that the " Liffey Falls signage " distance from one to the next was pretty big so it made us wonder if we have missed the turn at certain part of the journey. Overall i... More

There are so many photos of Liffey Falls and you think it can't possibly be that gorgeous but it is. The walk is super easy and suitable for all ages. The drive to the carpark is a little long so be prepared to keep going when you think you have missed it.

So you turn off the road and think, "OK no body has really ever heard of this place", and you keep going down and down and down like think again "Will we find dinosaur bones now?", and holy cow, you get to the parking lot and you discover just how many other folks have come here today! A real hidden... More

A spectacular wilderness setting. Ancient tree ferns and sassafras trees abound in this giant volcanic canyon. Incredible waterfalls..like nothing i have seen before.

It's only a relatively short walk to view these falls but they are some of the most beautiful I have seen. There are many great spots to stop and enjoy the area and all the forest has to offer. There is adequate parking, restrooms and picnic areas. Take your time to look around and find amazing algae growth on the... More
