Lovy little touches all over the place, even the bathroom! Could have spent all afternoon there.Visited November 2023Travelled with familyWritten 20 November 2023

Love that you can sit on the grass, deck chairs or picnic table and benches, with great endless views. Great range of ice cold craft beers. The tasting paddles were very popular and a great way to taste the range of beers available. Also available was a local wine which was very nice. There was a local cider which was very good too and loads of options for non drinkers as well, so it caters for everybody. Great service. Nice pizza’s. Burgers were delicious and we asked for a takeaway charcuterie board which the staff kindly set up for us with so much love and care. Thank you so much!Visited April 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 1 May 2024

We went on a sundy and it was very busy and the beer is good. We were able to sit outside as the weather was good. The beer is $6 per can or a bit cheaper from the taps. They also do great pizzas at reasonable prices. You can also purchase cans to take away. Grab a group of friends and head there for a good time.

Wet, grey and rainy day when we visited here. Didn’t stop for long. Long enough for one beer and a small ploughman’s board. Both were ok. We’d been hoping for a pie but just missed out. There was no cover outside so all patrons were inside. Even though there weren’t that many of us, we struggled to get somewhere for 4 people to sit. Staff seemed stretched. There were several serious leaks in the roof that meant the limited seating was even further reduced. Tap beer options were limited also. Had high hopes for a long lunch by the open fire. Didn’t happen.

Fabulous atmosphere and great area for family’s to play games on the lawn whilst enjoying a local beer and platter. It was quite sunny and warm the day we went hoping the extension will ultimately have sun shades to protect from the weather. Outlook is amazingly beautiful.

Was really looking forward to visiting this place since booking our trip.
Arrived early on a Friday evening to find a busy car park, people inside.
Door was locked, the people inside just stared at us as if we were in a zoo so we waited a while and left.
No sign on the door for a private function, no mention on Facebook about a private function.
Never been greeted at a brewery in this way before, it was utterly bizzare.
The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is that I tried some of their beers in Kingscote and they weren't terrible.
I don't recommend this place. Save your money.

We dropping in on a Friday afternoon during a recent trip to KI (staying in Kingscote). The brewery has a nice feel and we had a beer sampler paddle. Unfortunately there was a group of young guys (one in particular) in loud shirts who were in loud conversation and using unacceptable language. We finished our samplers and left. I don't think we would return.

Stopped off here with my husband on the way back to our rental accommodation in Emu Bay. We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff, and decided to try the paddle taster, a selection of 4 of their beers. We saw that their handmade pizza was on offer, so had one each. Delicious! They were so so filling we could only manage to eat half, so took the other half as take away. The pale ale was my favourite beer, so bought a six pack to enjoy in the evening with the remaining pizza. I’d highly recommend a stop here to anyone who enjoys good beer and food in a friendly and welcoming place.

We all found a beer we liked and we loved the pet friendly atmosphere. It is great. There is a very limited menu and this is probably good. We ordered 4 burgers and only two arrived. After a extended delay I asked at the kitchen about the other two meals. Many apologies forthcoming and eventually 2 burgers. We had already had two burgers so we knew what to expect. They were both served rare. I appreciated the gesture of a couple of free schooners for the mix up but it was lucky our dogs enjoyed the rare patty's. I suspect we may have been the unlucky ones on a busy day and we are aware it happens. We will probably return as their version of Stout was great and we couldn't possibly be so unlucky twice. Nice place just having a bad day.

Best beer I’ve had in Australia. The pale and amber are perfect for a chill island day, the staff is knowledgeable and down to earth, and the space is beautiful and all built by the brewer Mike. Staying true to the roots of craft brewing, Mike is doing an awesome job with simple yet creative brews. This is where I want to spend my days on Kangaroo Island 😊
