Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Cellar door / wine bar in the main street of Clare. Marnie is a great host and very informative winemaker. Very interesting range of quality wines, including some varietals I had never seen before. Tasting fee refundable on purchase. Highly recommended

Set in the Main Street of Clare Matriach and Rogue offer a innovative range of wines in a lovely setting. Sarah was awesome taking us thru the wines, very knowledgeable and passionate! The wines are really interesting and well priced. We loved the Alices Shiraz 😋🍷.

A visit to the Clare Valley for wine tasting would not be complete without stopping in to see Marnie and her team. Not only are the wines, atmosphere and location perfect, they also do an excellent cheese platter and have Little Bang Beers.
Pull up a stool at the bar for an in-depth tasting of the diverse and delicious range or grab a glass (or bottle) and relax on the comfy couch and chat with friends.
As the only cellar door on the main street and with open hours that extend beyond many other cellar doors in the area this quirky little location is as much wine bar as cellar door.
