Great experience when visiting in August and saw whales very close to the cliffs from the marvellous viewing platforms and easy accessible boardwalks. The whales were with their calves.

We saw about 20 whales on 3/8, and quite close to the shore - lots of mothers and calves. The boardwalk makes it all so easy, and the staff at the centre are so friendly and helpful. So glad we stopped in!

Was a great experience seeing the fantastic Bunda Cliffs and the whales swimming just off sure. Cost $12 for seniors but expected this as maintenance for boardwalks on this and other lookouts are not free Will recommend this to everybody

What a visit - 8 whales plus two calves. We back tracked a bit to visit this centre and are so glad we did. If you are travelling during whale season allow 2 hours for a visit. You wont be disappointed.

Loved the whole 2 hours we spent there. Many Southern Right Whales & some with calves. Great board walks and lookouts with fabulous views of the cliffs east and across the Tasman Sea to take in tens of whales. Wheelchair accessible and a short drive...More

We didn't expect the entry to be $15 each when we arrived and were almost put off by this. Just as well we decided to proceed. There were around 10 whales right infront of us messing around in the water and countless further out around...More

I arrived at 3.55, I was having problems keeping track through all the different time zones heading to SA. There were at least a dozen whales and their babies in the water, flapping tails and using their blowholes, it was amazing. The staff were friendly...More

We purchased a seniors ticket during the calving season. When we returned a few weeks later, and the whales had left we were allowed to go and look for free! I think the tickets in calving season are for one day only.
