We were invited to dinner along the beachfront /cafe/ restaurant strip. First let me say this is not peak season .Its hot and muggy in Cairns so the beach front is the place to be.I noticed immediately people sitting at chairs and tables along the Corso enjoying the evening by the sea, having BBQ or take away. Some tourists were swimming in... Special area to swim to avoid the stingers, lifeguard, wonderful beach, warm water and clean sand. Nice to walk on in the early evening as you are in the shade

January is high time for jelly fish in Australia as such the folks at Trinity Beach check the conditions each day and provide a safe swim area so you can enjoy the beach without being stung. Bring your sunscreen and be prepared for light afternoon rains.

Less than a 10minute drive from where I used to live, beach is great and awesome to walk up and down. Lots of restaurants even though theyve knocked down the italian place and corner cafe. Plenty of BBQs and on the weekend they have inflatable water slides and trampolines.

This is a delightful beach to visit and sit watching the view, but no waves. Also not much to do around the surrounding area. In north Cairns Kewarra is the best beach to go to, although no waves either. But it has a lovely park, picnic/BBQ area and a Lifeguard at all times.

A lovely clean beach, perfect for the children with no surf/waves. Great to have a stinger-net sectioning some of the water for safer swimming.
