We were so surprised at the extent of information at the museum. So many things to look at . Definitely worth the price of admission & great place to spend an hour or two.

Lots of buildings to explore and treasures to discover. I like the pamphlet guide that gives you a brief history of each building. The gold panning, that is included with the price of entry, is a fun activity to try.

Knew Gympie had some mining history, was keen to see what they managed to collect over the years and put in the museum, a great collection, small items through to functioning steam engines and stamps, great time there, informative staff, had a great time

Time to appreciate this random collection is all you need. The collection is huge and needs some serious curation. Spent 4 hours and could have spent another 2 if I did not need coffee (the coffee and cake is great as well). Take the time...More
