Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was our first beach visit on our holiday and we were not disappointed. We came here with our 3 year old and it was great, there is a small seawater pool next to the beach which is a nice break from the beach. There are toilets, showers and a changing area next to the beach which are OK for public use. We found parking very easily again next to the beach but we were there later in the afternoon. The beach was nice and clean and the water clean and clear if not a bit cold. It was safe enough for our 3 year old to wade in the waves with us. We had a lovely day and would recommend this as a great family day out.

Visited on Tuesday 30th June. What a great place to live and get to enjoy this beautiful beach every day. It's an ever changing view each time I go for a walk along the walking track.

Great beach-so much to do here. Great surf for the kids boogie boarding. Plenty of sand to build sandcastles. The beach front pool is huge. The water squirter fountains are here also. There's a great park across the road and a flying fox not far from here. The kids have had turns on the bungy jump trampoline when it's parked here also. The surf club is right there for a meal or Kings Beach Tavern across the road. Perfect location for the whole family-something for everyone.

Kings Beach has a beautiful wide, white sand, rock pools, fantastic waves, lifeguards, oceanside walkway, 25 metre saltwater FOC pool, restaurants, Accommodation, shark nets and lifeguards year-round. The water temperature is currently 21 degrees in the middle of winter. It is the best beach for families and surfers.

Kings beach is great for everyone, solos through to families with kids.
Lots of free parking spots.
The beach is clean, patrolled and hosts a number of eateries in easy walking distance.
There is a great sea water pool for a few laps.
The area is clean and well maintained. Lots of showers, bbq’s and toilets.
The beach is on the walking/ jogging trail linking a number of adjacent beaches in both directions, the section going north from Kings to Moffat beach forms part of a war memorial trail and this alone is a credit to all involved.

This beach is suitable for couples and families. There are cafes and food outlets in walking distance. Theres a water park across from the beach for smaller kids to run around in. The beach is patrolled and there is a fenced swimming pool at the northern end of the beach. Theres a small kids park and bbq areas aswell. Parking can be tricky in school holiday time, but the beach is well worth a visit.

If you are driving past Caloundra thinking Noosa is the best beach, think again. Kings Beach has less crowds, better surf for all ages, a free, beautiful swimming pool on the beach for kids and lap swimmers, and heaps of apartments for rent with interesting sea and boat views.

Like most of the beaches along the Sunshine coast, there are great walks, swimming areas and cafe's everywhere to stop in for a cool drink.

Clean beach with all the amenities so you can change and shower afterwards. Good fun for kids who can swim, as this beach does get the big rollers and has strong rips. Great places to eat afterwards too.

Can we take our pet along the boardwalk and eat lunch?
Written 7 June 2017
Yes, plenty of places are happy for you to eat outside with your pet. Also happy to provide a water bowl for them.

All hours - public beach...but like all beaches the hours it's patrolled are limited....look for flags...if you're inexperienced as a surf swimmer stay between flags - rips are hard to see and very dangerous also common here. That said - it's a beautiful beach to walk along at sunset or in the moonlight...paddling in the edges of the waves is a lovely feeling! Relaxing and beautiful....
