We have always enjoyed a visit to Shelly Beach and today was even better this morning with a great coffee in our own mugs, and a breakie wrap and chicken, avo, cheese and bacon toastie. Very good value in a wonderful location.

Visited on Tuesday 17th November. Decided to check out Shelly Beach as we hadn't been there for awhile. Great spot to go for a walk along the beach on the rocks. Popular with families.

The sand is coarse and the beach can be narrow at high tide, but the general lack of crowds more than compensates. Terrific cliff nooks and eroded rock patterns at the far (Moffat) end of the beach. There are good quality and clean bbq plates with tables and bench seating under cover. The toilets are well maintained. There is usually a mobile coffee/snack van present on weekends. The beach can be popular for casual weddings and may be two occurring at the same time at opposite ends of the car park area. You can usually spot large shipping in the sea lanes.…
