Thankyou for your kind review of the Caloundra RSL. The Military Display downstairs has a children's activity also. Children have the opportunity to pose in 'Vietnamese bunker', send morse code via flashlight or a telephony machine and also learn to send a message to their friends via semaphore flags. The Memorial Gardens outside has an original Huey helicopter from the Vietnam War and many monuments in the garden for children to learn about past Australian service people and animals during the war. The Military Display is open Tues to Thurs 10am to 2pm and longer during school holidays (Mon to Fri 10am to 2pm). Kind regards, From the Military Display Volunteers

Informative and thought provoking. There are many donated articles that add another spectrum to the whole display. Very enjoyable.

This is one not to be missed, the work and dedication the volunteers have gone to is a credit to them. A very moving and spectacular display going down memory lane. I highly recommend it, having visited it many times
