Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Informative and thought provoking. There are many donated articles that add another spectrum to the whole display. Very enjoyable.

I've been to a lot of memorial sites, in DC, Europe, well, across the US and Europe AND Australia, and this little museum forces one to breathe in and remember there were soldiers who worked on farms in the country one day and where at Normandy a few days later. A very respectable memorial and one in which I am proud to be remembered and to remember.

We made a special effort to visit here and so glad we did - a veritable Aladins cave of Australian military memorabilia - the displays and shelves are crammed with exhibits including a large number of original uniforms but that's not all - large scale model ships, a full size field gun - photo op jungle display - and the walls are covered with pictures and detailed military history - the door was manned by Dave, a Vietnam vet, with whom I had interesting chat on the way out - so why not also make the effort this is recommended - oh yes don't forget to have a look at the field guns and Huey helicopter in the Memorial Garden at the exit to the rear car park

Thankyou for your kind review of the Caloundra RSL. The Military Display downstairs has a children's activity also. Children have the opportunity to pose in 'Vietnamese bunker', send morse code via flashlight or a telephony machine and also learn to send a message to their friends via semaphore flags. The Memorial Gardens outside has an original Huey helicopter from the Vietnam War and many monuments in the garden for children to learn about past Australian service people and animals during the war. The Military Display is open Tues to Thurs 10am to 2pm and longer during school holidays (Mon to Fri 10am to 2pm). Kind regards, From the Military Display Volunteers
