Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Tumgum lookout is a nice and easy walk either from Burleigh Point or from the Tullebudgera Creek bridge. The walk through the national park forrest is beautiful and peaceful ad the view from the lookout is also nice.

Amazing views across the inlet to Tallebudgerra creek, and south to Coolongatta. A nice sized platform with a sitting bench at the back, or just a short distance closer to Burleigh beach, you will find a more secluded sitting bench peeking through the foliage for a more intimate view

Tumgum Lookout is found along the Ocean View Lookout Track in Burleigh Head National Park. If you approach from Burleigh heads, it’s a quick climb up some stairs to the elevated track, or a long steady climb from the Tallebudgerra side. Being a National Park, you may come across wildlife, and I enjoyed a chance encounter with a Koala crossing my path

Nice walk through the rainforest. It was an easy walk that was around 20 minutes each way, with a well formed track

It is worth the walk up the hill for the views alone because when you reach the top you won’t be disappointed

A nice walk to do during an hour walk. It's nice to take a snapshot with friends in a natural environment.

Such a lovely area, we took a walk up to the lookout as had been recommended to me. A lovely gentle walk through the park and slight incline up to the lookout but worth it for the views. Make sure you take the right turning to the lookout.

You need to do this walk up Burleigh hill. It is a steady easy walk to the top but when you reach the top you will not be disappointed you can see the whales along their water highway.

Reaching the goal destination of Tumgum Lookout within the Burleigh Heads National Park was a great achievement for my elderly walking companion, the views from the viewing platform looking south were stunning. The information boards were most interesting detailing the cultural significance of the location and the meaning of the coastal towns: Currumbin (hoop pine), Kirra (white cockatoo), Wandai (Greenmount headland), Coolongatta (Kinyinarrabah) From the free carpark at the end of Goodwin Terrace we slowly made our way up to the lookout in fifteen minutes, much quicker for younger and fitter people.

Shady for large portions thru forest, more open on sea side. Views of coast lines in both directions, surfers, swimmers in Tallebudgera river, sand dredge replenishing Burleigh main beach. Lots of birdlife, if lucky lizards & even whales. Can be done in jandals but if doing the upper section everyone really needs shoes for the stepped haul down or up. Great family walk, pushchairs not suitable & no dogs.

Something For Everyone and especially lovers of Country Music.
Just dropped in to this annual3 day Music Festival at Broadbeach (approx 80km from Brisbane).
There's been a wide range of offerings in this "Urban Cowboy" event
It's held every July and stages are scattered through the shops and cafes and parks of this beach side suburb of the Gold Coast.
Mostly you have to bring your own seat or listen from a nearby cafe but there is a lot of fun to be enjoyed and best of all it's FREE!
