Golden sands, good surf near the rocks for serious surfers, great small waves for body boarding and life guards to keep everyone safe. If you take the path through the headland to Talebudgeera Creek you will be treated to the best creek for swimming and snorkeling.

Burleigh is my favourite place on the Coast. The beaches are brilliant, there is good eating right on the seashore, the Burleigh shopping centre is just across the road, and there are beautiful walks around Burleigh Hill overlooking the beaches.
My parents lived there for a few years from 1975, and other family members loved it so much they bought there, as well. Sure, like every other Gold Coast beach, it can get too crowded in holiday season, so visit out of season, or get up before sunrise and enjoy the amazing beach, walks, and views.

I haven't been to Burleigh for many years. So special to be back to enjoy the pristine beach & surrounds. Certainly a lot more crowded than years ago, although it was the tail end of 'Schoolies'. Will be back to enjoy the beach and the walk around the Headlands. Glorious place. Stayed in our Motorhome in the Burleigh Beach Caravan Park.

The sand was clean, water was crystal clear. The surf was pretty rough with the sandbar, but still great to swim in. There weren’t as many people here as you would see at surfers paradise or Broadbeach, so you could find a spot easily enough. We left in the afternoon when the wind picked up, it blew our umbrella away! Overall though, really nice beach, would definitely come again.

Yet another fabulous Gold Coast Beach, perhaps not as busy as some. It's an obviously justifiable famous surf beach and watching the surfers going through their paces was the highlight ifor us.

This town was a little too busy for my taste but the beach, water and surroundings were beautiful! Surfers, diners and chillers!

Burleigh beach has parks, 3 lifeguard towers, the beach is generally clean. There are rips occasionally, so follow the lifeguards directions.

The pic you have of the flat beach (with short sand area) and the bridge in background....where is this, is this currumbin or tull creek? t looks like a perfect spot for toddler beach....calm and not a long walk down on sand
