We made the most of the incredible value of the Cupitt's Stay & Celebrate package to duck away for 1 night for our oft-neglected wedding anniversary this week and couldn't have had a more luxurious and perfectly rejuvenating romantic break.
The accommodation suites are just glorious- the original artworks, the enormous 2 person bath on the deck, the super comfy bed, the delicious house made sourdough, the sparkling wine on ice on arrival and the beautiful landscaped gardens and sunny outlook from our private deck was just what was needed.
Lunch the next day was all part of the package and we made the most of the paired wines, local seasonal produce, beautiful oysters and great views.
We have had so many special long lunches, friends weddings and visits to sample the house made beers, wines and cheeses over the years- but this was my favourite trip yet- and such great value.
Thanks Team Cupitts for bringing such an incredible offering to the South Coast. The whole thing is just so well executed- the details really matter and make the whole thing just so enjoyable.

Our party of 16 headed to Cupitt’s to celebrate Mums 90th. Right throughout the planning the Cupitts team were accommodating of our plan dietary requirements etc offering us alternatives to celebrate on the day. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and the staff were very attentive. They were especially kind to the birthday girl. The food was superb and the portion’s extremely generous. They even packaged up left overs for us. We also enjoyed the cupitts beers with the younger crew tasting many varieties and the wine and bubbles were lovely too. All in all a terrific experience

We went for the formal dining restaurant on a special occasion. The wine was good but the food was a bit, well, flat and lacking in execution. I'm wondering if Mondays are the chefs day off, or maybe there's been a change in staff lately because what we got today doesn't match their reputation. The tasting area next door would be worth trying, the people there looked happy and the pizzas looked good.

This winery was recommended by a local. Oh my goodness. It is wonderful. We did a wine tasting, had a delicious lunch in Dusty’s and there is a formal dining area as well. Cupitt’s also brew their own beers and serve cocktails as well as their wines. The pizza we had for lunch was the best I’ve eaten in soo long. The service, though, topped it all.
We don’t live nearby but we will definitely be back and next time we will bring friends.

We were so impressed!
I have dined at Cupitt's before but have never stayed there.
We highly recommend the whole experience. The accommodation was private, immaculate and every detail was of high quality.
Absolutely loved sitting in the bath with a wine and listening to the cows in the paddock.
We cannot fault the dining experience either!

I had heard great reviews and was looking forward to going. When we arrived however there was a "smoke and fire night" which was awesome, great atmosphere, band playing, food looked yummy , this was outside BUT we had booked the fine dining and sorry we left pretty disappointed. Obviously not the right night to go when there is other things going on , however we will definitely go back during the day or for a themed night as staff were fantastic and it definitely has a lot to offer.

We booked a table for dinner mid-week at Cupitt's a few weeks ago. Although we made our reservation a week in advance we found the only 2 available times were 6.15 and 7.45. We took the 6.15 time and therefore had to leave our friends (locals) early to make it there in time. On arrival we found the dining room of approximately 30 tables with only 3 tables taken. When we left 2 hours later no other patrons had arrived...so why couldn't we have the 7.00 ? We presume that the owner wanted both customers and staff gone by 8.30.
Both the duck and fish were cooked to perfection however the duck came with red cabbage and the fish with eggplant, both of which we didn't like, forcing us to order a side of potatoes ($12) and a side of broccolini ($12). We had been warned about this.
The only chardonnay was $19 a glass! This is more than you pay at the Sydney Opera Bar!
When the bill arrived we found we had been over-charged by $153... on correcting this the wait-staff asked if we wanted to leave a tip. Sorry, no tip, we won't be back and we wont recommend this restaurant.

We understand your frustration and assure you we will review our reservation system and procedures to ensure a smoother process in the future, providing more suitable options for our valued patrons. Your feedback will help us better manage our seating arrangements and communicate with our guests.
We're glad the duck and fish dishes were perfectly cooked. However, we apologise if the accompanying red cabbage and eggplant did not align with your personal taste preferences. We appreciate your feedback on this matter and will consider offering more versatile side options in the future to cater to a broader range of palates. I am not exactly sure what you meant by you 'were warned' about this. The price of the sides? Our menu pricing is available online. We are transparent about this.
Regarding the pricing, we apologise if our chardonnay pricing did not meet your expectations. We constantly strive to offer a range of beverages at fair and competitive prices, and the chardonnay is the most expensive wine on the list. Your feedback on the pricing will be seriously considered as we review our offerings.
We deeply regret the billing error that occurred during your visit. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.
Your overall experience does not meet our standards, and we are genuinely sorry for any negative impression left. Pretty views. Patrons seemed full of parvenues,so attmosphere was a bit snooty, lol. Bought 2 glasses of Prosecco, nice as it was, it cost $14 a glass.

Hello Unicorn Traveller, Thanks for popping in and enjoying the views. Not sure what is meant by parvenues, we can't manage our clientele if they come across as snooty, but I am very sorry if the atmosphere wasn't really friendly. We set out to create a welcoming, fun place to enjoy a prosecco or two. I hope you will visit us again in the future.

Hi, we do recommend making a reservation, If you know you will be dining, however, we always have a casual bar menu available for lunch too as an option if we cannot fit you into the restaurant.

How long is the wine tour please?

Hi the taste and tour goes for about an hour and leaves at 11am Wed- Sunday, The Sunset Winery Tour leaves at 5pm and is about 45 minutes long (Friday and Saturday only)
Pre-booking both tours is essential.
