Cupitt’s Estate is well known in the South Coast, as it is a lovely place to enjoy wine or beer tasting, grab a bite to eat or dine in the restaurant whilst taking in the stunning views of the property and the Budawang Ranges. We partook in a wine tasting, paired with cheese and crackers, sitting outdoors on the lawn where there were plenty of families and even dogs! Cupitt’s is known for their award winning wines, the winery in operation since 2007. Cupitt’s produces sparkling, whites and reds in a range of varieties especially European varieties. Grapes are sourced from grapes are sourced from cool climate regions across New South Wales and Victoria, including Hilltops, Tumarumba, Orange, the Yarra Valley and Canberra District. Cupitt’s now also produce their own craft beer so you’re able to try beer paddles too; ale, ipa, pale ale, coconut IPA, imperial stout, Pilsner and more. Food You can dine in the on site restaurant with a 4-Course set menu for $85 pp. Alternatively you can sit outside and order from their ala carte which has charcuterie boards, cheeses and pizzas. You can take a wine or beer tasting out there too. Wine and cheese tastings For $45 pp you can also book to do a wine and cheese tasting with 5 wines and 3 cheeses. Wine tasting The guided Cellar Door tasting takes you through 5 wines, where you taste the wines and learn about the winemaking process and find your favourite. The tasting is $10 pp. Shop You can visit the cellar door for take-away Wine, Beer, Cheese and Merchandise. Overall The winery is super popular so you really must book for any of the experiences. We found it to be a lovely experience

Visited the estate on a sunny Sunday afternoon listening to the live music whilst sampling some of their beer & wine with a nice cheese platter. Recommend it for a relaxing afternoon, however bookings are recommended & you can only stay for 90minutes.

I am so sorry to say this but we were all so surprisingly disappointed. All of us are regular travellers and very frequent restaurant goers. We so wanted this to be good. The food simply wasn’t. And before lunch we were offered a pre-lunch drink / we were all excited to have a Bloody Mary. Well 2 seconds after we got that the food started tumbling on the table faster than McDonalds. Why offer a pre lunch drink and then bring the food? With the food we wanted wine. So we didn’t get to finish our Bloody Marys. First course was choux filled with a mass of cream blue cheese. I gagged. Ate one not 2. The second course - more blue cheese on some roasted veggies - awful. Next slightly warmed avocado with ocean trout - utterly tasteless and revolting texture - that was the worst. Then beetroot and kangaroo tartare. Could not find the kangaroo. Again tasteless The pork belly was the stand out - but off a very low base. It was good though. An accompanying salad came with NO dressing at all. Nothing! And then some cheap mess for dessert. I actually am convinced that the chef must have been off - you just seriously do not send food out that is that awful. And as for the protocol of only swapping plates between courses for those who are messy rather than everyone - how embarrassing and humiliating. The waitress was lovely so of course we tipped her - it’s not her fault. But seriously what a shame. We still all had fun - and the place is beautiful. Just wish I had the pizza I saw on the way in - that looked delicious.

We choose Cupitts for a special lunch for a girlfriend’s birthday. From booking pre lunch drinks on the lawn and then through to the restaurant for lunch every was amazing. The staff are friendly and extremely attentive. The food is the die for and the setting relaxing. Would highly recommend Cupitts. Thanks for making our lunch so lovely.

We stopped in on the off chance and were lucky to be able to taste some wines and also booked a table on the deck for lunch. Some nice wines although slightly on the more expensive side, probably because they are limited batches. We had the bar menu on the deck as in the restaurant it’s a four course set menu for $85 pp and we didn’t want a big lunch. Bar menu is good, I had chicken pieces of which you get 8 wing dings and smoky aioli, yummy. Hubby had smoked ocean trout also quite tasty. We shared a bowl of chips with aioli, more then enough to eat for a reasonable sized lunch. Finished off with coffee. Good clean toilets. Friendly efficient staff. Nice outlook although weather was a bit rainy and overcast today.
