Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were very happy with our tour: we saw wild cangaroos and kookaburras, hiked and visit Featherdale. Jelle is very informative and patient. He managed a difficult day with a group from 12 to 86 year old, proposing the right activities for each of us. Highly recommended!!

Great tour to see all of the areas of Sydney! Was able to see the Opera House from Macquarie Park to Bondi beach as well as some of its affluent neighborhoods. I wish there was slightly more time to take pictures of some of the well known things in Sydney. Oh and it was great learning a lot of the city's history.

We booked the small-group insider tour of the Blue Mountains for our family of four months in advance of our arrival in Sydney. The day before we confirmed with the owner Jelle and he offered to pick us up at our hotel in Coogee to make things convenient and easy for us—he also dropped us off there at the end of the tour. From the start, Jelle’s energy and excitement for the tour was better at bringing me out of my usual morning fog better than any cup of coffee I’ve ever had. He was full of information about Sydney, what we were driving by, etc., as well as full of questions about how we wanted to spend OUR day together. This customization on-the-fly was a differentiating factor from other small group tours I’ve been on in the past. Jelle wanted to make sure we got the tour experience that most suited our interests, physical abilities, etc. We saw all of the significant sites at the different stops, and Jelle peppered us with facts, stories, and local lore about them as well as the surrounding plants and wildlife. There is a fair amount of driving on this tour, which can be a drag if your driver isn’t constantly making you laugh or keeping you on the edge of your seat with the legend of the Three Sisters. This tour was fantastic. I highly recommend!

I will start by saying, we did not complete our entire tour because our tour van broke down. We made it to featherdale park and on our way to the Blue Mountains the van broke down.

Featherdale Park was great, you definitely get some close up shots to Koala’s and you get to feed all sorts of kangaroos and wallabies. we only 5o minutes to spend here on this tour and that just isn’t enough if you’re an animal lover. Side note: I went to Taronga zoo the day before and that is probably the best zoo I’ve seen. You get a close up to kangaroos and koalas amongst other animals as well. Featherdale was a tad bit better in a sense you can feed and get very close to kangaroos and you don’t get that at Taronga.

When the van broke down, the driver/tour guide was extremely apologetic and It was no one’s fault. We opted to walk bus station and take the bus to Blue Mountains ourselves. I gave 5 stars because our guide was on time, very nice and knowledgeable, and the company refunded us in full very quickly.

We had a fantastic afternoon, very personalised, we visited lots of places many of which were just off, the main tourist spots, which are used and enjoyed by the locals. This was an unforgettable afternoon. It was like seeing Sydney through different eyes. I would highly recommend this tour. Thank you to our guide for giving us unforgettable memories of Sydney. AWESOME

Hiking, history, birding, lesser-trodden paths, breathtaking views - all in one day. Jelle does an extraordinary job of exposing you to a country, its peoples and its landscape. The tour begins with a visit to Featherdale before the crowds arrive; it’s both animal park and sanctuary, with Australia’s best-known animals and birds in little or no confinement. During our hike in the Blue Mountains, picnic lunch, and visit to the Botanic(al) Gardens, we identified more than a dozen species of birds. A quite large blue-tongued skink joined us for lunch, hanging out around the picnic table in peaceful co-existence the entire time. Jelle is an obvious nature lover with a keen eye and astute observations. If you’re looking for an intimate tour with an experienced guide, this one’s for you.

I took the Blue mountains tour with the guide Jean. I think it was the highlight of my trip to Sydney as the guide was very knowledgeable and took us to the "lesser seen" parts of the mountain. We also visited the wildlife park and Botanical Gardens. The group was really small making it a very enjoyable experience. Definitely use Dingo if you are visiting Sydney.

He also arranged for meals suited to our special requirements, in summary taking care of all little details of the touring group!

I did a trip to Sydney with my in-laws. Jelle drove us around for a half day tour. He had a wealth of information about the different precincts in the city, and it was quite interesting to learn about how the city was built around the harbour. I'd recommend Jelle's tour for a personalised overview of this interesting city.

We had an amazing day with Jelle today! He took us on a walk to a couple of different valleys, each with a unique and splendid view. Jelle knows many things about many things: he gave us some inside information about life in Australia, taught us a lot about animals and plants we came across and just generally shows a lot of interest in everything. Jelle takes his groups to places the average tourist does not get to see. He avoids the so-called "tourist traps" and goes the extra mile to take you to a place you never forget. The lunch he prepared was delicious and surprising. Definitely worth booking Dingo Tours if you want to have a fantastic experience in Sydney!
