Duck off from Alison Road onto the boardwalk and find yourself in a green sanctuary full of tall trees, trailing vines, croaking frogs, lizards, birds and insects and beautiful tranquility. It does have rather a lot of mosquitoes so beware. It's about a 15 minute walk along the boardwalk, including stairs and you can do a return trip or finish... More

Stumbled upon this walk on our way back from Coogee Beach to our accommodation in Randwick. Really lovely walk, nice to get off the street and into a little slice of paradise! Some parts have quite a lot of steep stairs so you wouldn't want to take a stroller, I was 8 months pregnant at the time, and managed it... More

A very nice board-walk, quiet and a retreat from the hustle and bustle. Doesn't take long and wouldn't travel to do it. We happened to be in the area. Interesting information boards along the way.

Great hideaway in Randwick. Have passed it many times and have not seen it. The walk was maintained nicely. Several parts have steep steps. A few local kookaburras on the walk. The walk is the only part left of rainforest in Randwick surrounded by houses/apartment.

Great to see (no pun intended) this little piece of Nature kept & named after a Great Australian ! Have been driving past it for over a decade & finally stopped & enjoyed ! The walk is on a mostly well maintained elevated walkway and several areas of steep steps. So while it's a short walk (approx 460 m) it... More

This reserve is well worth walking down once. It looks like a tropical oasis and people will think your photos were taken on a tropical island. There are signs giving you details of plants, fauna and the history of the reserve. There was even a new species of lizard found in this reserve. It is a little tricky to find... More

It's lovely a lovely little walk. I was hoping for it to take at least half an hour but was about ten minutes or less- nice short escape from the surrounding houses/apartments

This tribute to a wonderful human being just couldn't be better. Fred Hollows was such a humanitarian and the work he did was unbelievable. The reserve is full of wild life and native plants. Definitely worth a visit.

This beautiful reserve is a serene plane where you can step out out of the busyness in to nature. There is a walking track and you can see many native australian fauna and flora.
