The gardens are sympathetically landscaped and had stunning views. I was not as impressed with the house but I loved the modernist studio and the art deco railings and panels.

When the azaleas and camellias are out this is an amazing garden. It is also beautiful with the mist and the garden and little amphitheatre in winter. A beautiful large garden area to walk around... take a picnic with a camera or a drawing pad......More

I think it would be a lovely place for children, especially in the garden - all the nooks and crannies outside and the space to run and jump too. Just be careful inside the house, but that won't take long.
