Really enjoyed the day at Scenic World. Good cafes there. Free water refills. Get there early to avoid crowds.

We all loved it, kids and parents and grandparents. The cable cars, the train, the walks and dinosaurs. Lovely big cafe restaurant and gift shop. The views were like something out of a movie, parrots flying around. I can’t recommend it enough. We had our...More

There’s lots to see but always packed with tourists. Not the relaxing experience you come to expect when in the bush. Walkways very well maintained. Rides are well organised.

We visited yesterday with three generations in toe..... 12 of us! It was a big day but well worth it. We went to the early bird session which was well worth the early rise as by 10am it was bustling! The train, cableway and skyway...More

Scenic World is a really nice place for a visit to see the Blue Mountains and the rain forest of the valley. Some good attractions including the worlds steepest railway. The currently have a dinosaur walk as well in the rain forest.

Spent Christmas day here. Got it a bit cheaper by booking online for early bird arrival. We were first in the door and first to all the attractions. Many people have indicated long lines and wait times impacting their experience. Easily solved by going early....More

The walkway, railway and ropeway are super. The Dinosaur valley is a good attempt. The valley itself reminds you of prehistoric times and you can easily imagine how it could have been. You can spend a whole day. Staff is friendly and the little sprinklers...More

We went during school holidays which was very busy. We purchased tickets on-line which is advised to avoid big queques. The on-line purchase also gave us a reserved parking spot in the undercover carpark which was VERY welcome! During school holidays they have staggered entry...More

A great day put. Beautiful sunny day. Lots of people. Grandson 5 yo, had a great time, riding the scenic railway, cable cars and seeing the dinosaurs. He loved the dinosaur nuggets for lunch. Pay for the tickets before you go to save lining up...More

Unless there is a discount offered to purchase tickets on-line, I do not recommend you to pre-purchase them. Purchase them when you are there. Also, my strong recommendation is that you arrive before 10 am if you can. You... More

Hi, I'd do the walk bit to the main starting point! I guess you could get back in after 3.00 pm but honestly, the crowds look far worse than they actually are! The staff are highly organised and the queues move pretty fast... More

Hi, forget about all the pricey explorer hop-on-hop-off buses. After getting off at Katoomba station, just take a 1 min walk to a bus stand at Carrington Place on Katoomba Street. A regular bus No.686 (A$2.50) will take you... More
