So fun!

Loved Scenic World and so did the kids. We did the rides a few times and every time was as breathtaking as the last. Lovely attendants too. Definitely worth the visit.

Lovely start to the day
Jun. 2021 • Couples
As locals we decided to use our dine and discovery vouchers at Scenic World. We booked our tickets on line and chose to arrive close to opening before the crowds built up. What a smart decision - there weren't many people around at 9am. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. It was good to see covid hygeine being practised with regular sanitising - spraying and wiping railings and handles of the train and hand sanitiser located everywhere on site. The cafes are in good locations but 360 is still not run well with only being able to order food there and buying drinks downstairs. Unfortunately, we've never had a good eating experince here other than the view.
The ride experiences were just as enjoyable as ever. The boardwalk at the bottom is a lovely place to take your time to be quiet and take in the amazing beauty.
On the whole we had a most enjoyable start to the day. Keep up the good work 'Scenic World'!

Awesome experience
May 2021 • Family
We had already done quite a lot around Katoomba and seen the sights however this offers a very different perspective. We had the online pass which was all 4 rides plus lunch. We went on a Friday and we never waited more than two rounds to get on. As it wasn't overly busy we could do multiple rides on all attractions, even though two schools were there. Loved the scenic Railway even in reverse. The walkway was nice and informative. The air was quite cold so the breeze coming through the skyway and cable car was freezing so don't forget a jacket. The operators for the rides were informative and had a great sense of humour. Would definately recommend.

Nice
May 2021
Visited May 2021 and the only option available to visitors arriving at the main entrance at this time was to go on and pay for all the rides rather than having a choice of the 4 Discovery Options (Scenic Railway, Scenic Skyway, Scenic Cableway, Scenic Walkway). One adult and one concession came to c. $96 which was okay for the experience. The steepest passenger train was good as you can adjust the seat to one of three incline settings, though the trip is over rather quickly and now that it is glassed in it does not feel as exciting as it was years back when it was a more open cage carriage and you could feel the fresh air rush. Liked the views towards the Three Sisters, especially from the Scenic Skyway where there is also a good view of Katoomba Falls. Enjoyed the circuit boardwalk through peaceful tall temperate rainforest with some nice views towards the sandstone cliffs. And got to see a Lyrebird scampering around. Be prepared for some queuing for the rides.

In the main centre there is a café, outdoor and indoor eating areas with views and a touristy gift shop. Public bus goes regularly from Katoomba Street and you can also take in Echo Point via bus. Walking to Echo Point from Katoomba is fine for walkers but getting to Scenic World is a bit more tricky negotiating the road in places. Scenic World is one of the easier ways to see part of the Blue Mountains World Heritage. There are also many other scenic views, activities and bushwalks.

What a beautiful place.
Dec. 2020
The ride was comfortable and the view was spectacular. The staff were pleasant and helpful. There was a group of us and it was not jam packed so we got to all go on the one ride which was great. We all enjoyed the experience.

So different from last time...
May 2021
I visited many years ago. It has been upgraded substantially. The staff are excellent.
My only grip is still having to queue despite having timed bookings. This aspect could be much better managed. YMMV

Great views and experiences
Apr. 2021
We bought the pass which entitled you do all four items. The train is the steepest in the world and was very interesting to travel on. It only went for 5 mins but that was enough. Once on the forest floor you walked across a boardwalk which explained the mining of the katoomba area. There is also a sculpture walk (20mins you can do ). We caught the cable car back up to the top and then went on another cablecar across the valley. Has a glass floor so you see below you. Great view of the Katoomba Falls from this. If you go, book early as it gets busy from 11am onwards. We were there at 9.30am and did not have to wait for any rides.

A must do when you're in the Blue Mountains
Apr. 2021
This was our first stop in the Blue Mountains and what a way to see all the views! It's not somewhere we will go back but it's definitely something to do once in your life. All the staff were really friendly and it felt like they really loved their jobs. The gift shop has so much to offer and was nice to walk around. Each of the rides is over very quickly but they're all fun. We did the sculptor trail and honestly, it was distracting and taking away from the natural beauty of the rainforest as they were all so obscure. I don't understand why it's there but each to their own!

Great Family Time - budget at 2 hours
Apr. 2021
Loved everything about this place. If you can go during these holidays do it as the Sculpture exhibition (running until end April) as part of the nature walk just added another fascinating dimension to the already spectacular scenery. Flat walking tracks, great for all ages! Take warm clothes though as the temperature on the forrest floor can be very cold.

Short and sweet visit but well worth it...
Apr. 2021 • Solo
Travelled on train from Sydney to Katoomba to visit Scenic World. Short time queuing, and then away I went. First scary train ride on steepest train in the World. Then 10 minute rainforest walk, then Cable car back up, and then Skyway for one final look at the amazing view.
I did it all in an hour. It was very busy, but well worth it.
Amazing views, great service by friendly staff, and easily accessible from Katoomba (10 minute taxi if bus ride).
