This place is more of a themed park than a place to really see the Three Sisters and Blue Mountain. Entrance ticket is $43 per pax and you get unlimited rides on the railway, cable car (both railway and this cable car goes vertical; from...More

Long lines , poor amenities, bad service. Welcome to scenic world. We just wanted to travel the railway, just 300 meters long. We were slugged with a coat of $40 per person. Over priced bottle of water. The whole place is a blatant rip-offMore

Wheelchair users can’t use the Scenic Railway although are charged full price ($43). Beware of being bumped and jostled in the Skyway as the staff tell everyone to squeeze up. Some staff were great and provided ramps to cover the gap getting on and off...More

A must and nice place to visit with family. A bit of walking involved, but you have the choice to go on a long stretch or a short one. Nice restaurants and friendly staff. You need to make sure that you get there on a...More

Beautiful views. Get to see the Katoomba Waterfall, the three sisters and valley from the skyway, railway, cableway and walkway. Economical, public transport available to the location and suitable for the elderly.

As the saying goes... “When in Rome”. You cannot go past this place. Having been to all sorts of theme parks, Scenic World is the best valued on I have been to and thoroughly recommend. No gimmick rides here. The cable cars blend in with...More

Left it a bit late to visit and worried that we wouldn’t get to see everything but it was fine, very helpful staff, fabulous views, well worth the money.

On the day we visited, access to the scenic railway from the bottom of the cable car was closed. All walkway routes were closed but nowhere was this indicated. Many visitors, ourselves included, wasted around 45 minutes working this out for ourselves. There were no...More

Plenty to do here particularly if you like walking. We had limited time so we took the Scenic Railway down to the valley and then did the fairly short walk to the Cable Car for the return. Lovely views of the Three Sisters.

Hi, forget about all the pricey explorer hop-on-hop-off buses. After getting off at Katoomba station, just take a 1 min walk to a bus stand at Carrington Place on Katoomba Street. A regular bus No.686 (A$2.50) will take you... More

You have to pay at Scenic world to use carriages. From what I can remember steep steps is just the name of the pathway you take to get to East wing cable carriage. Give Echo point lookout information centre a call or... More

I don’t like heights either and was fine. The railway is very steep but you are locked in the train with no way to fall so it feels safe. The cable car across the gorge has in the middle a glass floor which you can avoid... More
