We’ve done Darwin’s Walk, Leura Cascades, Prince Henry Cliff Walk, and Wentworth Falls. Wentworth Falls is easily the best hike. I highly recommend starting The National Pass route from the top of Wentworth Falls. It quickly get you down to the bottom of the fall....More

Many paths to catch a different view of the falls. The Prince’s lookout is a must. You can walk to the falls itself. About 1hr from Carpark if you like to cover more areas.

Not too much water going over the falls in September. Jamison Lookout is a quick way to get a look at the falls and the surrounding area. As it was our first stop in the Blue Mountain area we really took in the amazing views....More

This point is not as crowded as Mountain blue and you can enjoy a nice view of the mountains with the sound of the falls.

The scenery here remains dramatic, even if the trails nearby are in bad shape or closed. The crowds on the weekends (bus tours) make it unpleasant in most locations nearest the falls. Over development too close to the feeder streams now means the water in...More

The falls themselves are high but rather wispy so not that impressive but the setting is stunning. There are a number of good hikes of varying length and difficulty to view the falls as well as several outlooks. On a warm sunny day you can...More

Public transport won’t get you to Jenolan Caves. It’s about an hour to an hour and a half drive, so not really close to the main part of the Blue Mountains. All bush walks are free, so no passes needed.
