We stopped for lunch while at the centre. We ordered mushroom and fetta salad for 17 dollars each. What we received was a pile of lettuce with a few bits of mushroom and a sprinkle of fetta. Disgraceful. Why rip people off?

The center combines an excellent art gallery, exhibition on the Blue Mountains, library and cafe. Adult admission to the combined exhibition and art gallery is only $5. An excellent way to spend an afternoon in katoomba.

The cultural centre exceeded all my expectations. The gallery is filled with portraits of Blue Mountain residents, each one attached with a small story about their life, just beautiful.

First time here and was really surprised. Everything was set out beautifully, displays and cultural heritage and history of the Blue Mountains was great. Great coffee and casual restaurant and large open area outside with views over the rooftops to the valleys in the distance.
