The center combines an excellent art gallery, exhibition on the Blue Mountains, library and cafe. Adult admission to the combined exhibition and art gallery is only $5. An excellent way to spend an afternoon in katoomba.

The cultural centre exceeded all my expectations. The gallery is filled with portraits of Blue Mountain residents, each one attached with a small story about their life, just beautiful.

First time here and was really surprised. Everything was set out beautifully, displays and cultural heritage and history of the Blue Mountains was great. Great coffee and casual restaurant and large open area outside with views over the rooftops to the valleys in the distance.

This is a great addition to the town. Well designed, well built, it adds a whole new layer of interest and attraction to Katoomba. The galleries are good, the shop is good, the cafe good and the library good. I love the outdoor space and...More

If you enjoy history and have time to read the displays and listen to the commentaries then this is worthwhile.

Saw the David Hockney exhibition here for only $5 which also entitled a visit to the multi-media natural heritage area which is quite spectacular. Well worth a visit.

A very small amount of exhibitors and art pieces. The installations are good but the exhibition has little to offer. Lack of aboriginal contribution in an area where we expected to see and experience lots of. Was really uninviting. 😟

This elegant gallery is stunning and exhibitions are changed regularly. Art work generally relates to the Blue Mountains, unless it's the Archibald Portrait exhibition. Allow time to see the World Heritage Centre as well. This tranquil space is best appreciated by sitting on the seats...More
