Our trip on December 7, 2019 was a great adventure. Our guide Greg was was wonderful teacher as we had never been abseiling before. We did the abseiling trip in the Grand Canyon as Empress was closed at the time. The trek was beautiful. I definitely stepped out of my comfort zone with abseiling and swimming/back stroke through the streams. The backpacks were a great floating device. Our guide was also so informative about the history of the area. This was challenging yet very doable. There are other companies in the area that do this tours too but I would highly recommend Blue Mountains Adventure company. They were very responsive, knowledgeable, and safety was also very important to them.

We did the Empress Falls Canyon and abseiling day for my 50th birthday and the experience was everything we had hoped for. James and Dec, our guides for the day, were excellent. They were very experienced and knowledgeable which meant we felt completely safe whilst having a lot of great fun and stepping right outside of our comfort zones. It's not often we find an activity that the whole family enjoys together but this was definitely one of them. The equipment is great quality and well looked after so despite the water in the canyon being really cold it certainly didn't detract from the experience as we had good wetsuits and thermals.
There were other groups at the end of the canyon that were much bigger than ours and seemed rather chaotic so I was very happy that we had chosen BMAC!
Highly recommend!!

Dan led us on a day-long abseil and climbing expedition around Boars Head. We had a great day learning to abseil, ate a surprisingly tasty lunch, and climbed the "Old Shandy" route. We're fairly experienced climbers but we're new to abseiling. Dan made us feel safe the whole time and answered all our questions about the route and surrounding areas. Overall, it was a great time and one of the highlights of our visit to Australia.

Many thanks for taking the effort to leave us a review of your recent Boars Head adventure. Dan very much enjoyed sharing this experience with you especially given it was your honeymoon! Enjoy the rest of your travels.

We had an unforgettable half day abseiling at Boars Head. Our guides, Tim and Pedro, not only ensured our safety but also made us feel at ease, allowing us to fully embrace the entire experience. Highly appreciate their expertise and commitment to creating a positive adventure atmosphere. The rope traverse through the chasm and abseil provided an exhilarating experience and was certainly a highlight. The stunning views of the Megalong Valley added to the magic of this adventure. Highly recommend for an incredible day!

I did the full day of abseiling then canyoning at Empress Falls. I cannot recommend this highly enough.
Our guide, Emily, was absolutely fantastic. Really good fun and enthusiastic, made sure we knew what we were doing and that we felt confident, and was just great banter the whole time.
Loved her backflip into the water at the end, show off!!!
The lunch provided was delicious and great fuel for the afternoon of canyoning.
Overall I think this was fantastic value for money, it is undoubtedly the highlight of my trip to Oz.

My wife and I recently enjoyed the "Adventure Climb - 'Sweet Dreams'" activity with Blue Mountains Adventure Company. We loved every minute of the experience and can't say enough about how grateful we are to our guide, Mika, for leading our excursion.
It was our first multi-pitch climb and we felt like everything was perfect. The climbing was straightforward, the communication before and during each pitch was excellent, and we felt completely safe throughout the day.
If you're a rock climber and are looking to experience beautiful vistas on a multi-pitch climb, we can't recommend this experience enough.

Our first experience into the world of abseiling and canyoning was spectacular. Having grown up in Sydney and now living abroad in Canada, I wanted to show my two sons (17 & 15) some of the sights that Australia had to offer. Juggler Canyon provided a wonderful setting with amazing views and varying terrain to engage the thrill seeking teenagers whilst being fun for me as well. Our two guides, Declan and Pedro, were extremely friendly, provided excellent and clear instructions and were great to chat with throughout the journey. From their local knowledge of the surrounds, flora and fauna, coupled with their patience as the boys quizzed them on many items, we learned a lot and had a blast doing it.
I'd highly recommend this to beginners or anyone simply looking for a fun day of adventure in the mountains.
I'd also like to give a special shout out to Pedro, for going above and beyond the call of duty, by providing us with a jump start when we discovered a flat battery in our car at the end of the days adventures.

A brilliant family experience.
Learning how to abseil in the morning and putting it to practice until he afternoon down into the Grand Canyon. Wetsuits and packs on we then were taken Canyoning by our wonderful guide, Nacho.
A unique and well organised experience with a lovely lunch included. It’s really down the the guide though who, in our case, filled our day with interesting info and facts about all the geology, flora and fauna around us and was attentive, interested and warm throughout the day.
Glad it was just the 4 of us as I think we got more out of the day this way.
A unique and amazing way to spend a November day.

Challenging 20km day walk - starting and ending with the Furber Steps. Lunch and coffee provided on top of the spectacular Ruined Castle. Our guide, Dan, was phenomenal, coaxing me through some exciting rock climbing (I'm scared of heights) and full of incredible stories about the area. Definitely pushed us outside our comfort zones - in a good way. Do it!

I had a great time doing the introduction to rock climbing adventure. It was one of the guaranteed to go adventures on the website and I was able to book the day before which was so convenient as a solo traveller! Our guide, Emily, was friendly, knowledgeable, encouraging, and thoughtfully picked climbs at a good level for our group. Lunch was delicious! :)

Which introductory canyoning adventure would be best to buy my boyfriend for his 30th birthday? We are both quite fit, love to get wet and are adrenalin junkies. All of the adventures on the website sound so good, it's so hard to choose!

Savanna! We're so sorry we didn't see this message earlier!
You can buy a voucher for a general "introductory canyoning adventure" and then let your boyfriend choose. Or alternatively, you can choose one that you think sounds right and if he disagrees we'll happily honour it for the one he likes. But if you'd like a specific recommendation then I'd personally steer you towards Sheep Dip and Rocky Creek.
