Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Boar's Head Lookout is halfway down the short path from the tour bus car park to Cahill's Lookout. You can see the split rocks from the side, otherwise there's no point. A bit further west, you can get out towards the Boar's Head itself for a much quieter experience and even rock climbing.

This lookout is on the track to Cahill's Lookout, a great vantage point for those that want to spend more time viewing the Boar's Head formation and the valleys stretching to the distance. As for the Boar's Head, use your imagination.

I’ve never been to this lookout before, but I’ve seen photos.
Easily accessible from the road and just a short walk along a path.
Personally I think it looks more like a bears head then a boar though.

This was one of my favorite lookout points during my trip to Australia! You can see as far as your eyes can see...without any obstructions. The view was amazing! The mountains and lush vegetation. The birds flying overhead, the horizon. Simply put: beautiful!

This was well worth visiting and having a look at the different outlooks. It was quiet here at the time visited with other visitors briefly encountered and the view largely enjoyed solo.

Incredible views of a different part of the Blue Mountains. Lookout was not very busy as it is not near the main visitor attractions/popular look out points. Really picturesque and could have spent hours relaxing here on the small grass with picnic benches. Definitely recommend visiting.

The lookout is very close to the road and parking area, which makes it good for those who cannot do the longer hikes. The boar head is neat but not particularly impressive.

Took our time checking out a few lookouts.
This one looks just as the name suggests. Easy 80n walk down to view the scenery from Cahill lookout too.
Both stunning.

Spectacular views, near the three sisters but not of them. Over another great area though. Plenty of parking and picnic areas - lovely views and worth a visit.
