Lovely old machinery in original condition. A lot of beautiful weathered railway parts. Highly enthusiastic guide who took us around and told us of the historical significance of the site. Old round house, steam engines, carriages, machines, tools, buildings..... highly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour provided by Ed with the history of the people and the loco depot. There is so much to see and so much work to maintain a rail museum such as this. Maybe not for everyone but a joy for some one...More

I expect the funds are not available. If they were this could be an icon of Australian railway history. The railway museum suffers from lack of funding. There's sufficient locomotives and carriages to make this an awe-inspiring show. Sadly, everything is just left decaying. However,...More

This was well worth visiting seeing all the old trains and carriages. Brought back lots of memories of a distant childhood.

We were quite disappointed in this museum. A lot of rail history going to ruin. They definitely need a lot more help financially to restore the trains as they are literally rotting on the site...such a shame

My elderly father used to clean the old steam engines. He had an absolute ball looking around here! We were the only ones there, so got full attention from the manager who was very informative and helpful!

There are plenty of old trains here in various stages of (dis) repair. They are probably doing a great job bringing some of the trains back to life, but the day we were there, a Monday I think, there was not a sole to be...More

Staffed dominantly by volunteers, I was blown away by the quantity and quality of the exhibits and the knowledge, good humour and commitment of our guide.

Sorry my partner is the train buff and we don't remember. I particularly enjoyed walking through the original carriages.
