Eucumbene Trout Farm has a Cafe, Farm Tours and Fishing Experiences. The farm is a working trout farm also with Highland cattle and Alpacas. They have a privately stocked Stony lake for fishing with fly rod or rod to fish for your trout. Should you not be successful then you are welcome to advance your luck in the sure catch pond. You then have the choice of staff preparing the trout for cooking on the barbecues and having lunch in their picnic area or taking the trout home. A great day out for the family. Four hour sessions are available by arrangement. Beginner's introductory lessons can be included if required. All rods, reels, landing nets and bait/flies are supplied.Guided tours of the farm are available at 10am and 2pm, or other times by arrangement. The farm focuses on sustainability and water management and is accredited by Ecotourism Australia

Was disappointed to bag our catch limit in under 30 minutes! All happened too quickly. And that was the kids fishing in the ‘Sure catch pond’, which we were assured isn’t always a sure thing. Lovely hosts, beautiful setting. Highly recommended.

Hi Lorsch, it could be your skill! while I assume you trout have their own rules and why they are such a recreational activity. Certainly an awesome outcome. Hope to see you again.

I apologise for not appearing friendly. I am pleased you did enjoy your visit and catch what can be elusive trout, I do expect you will enjoy them.

A great family morning out. The owners were very friendly and personable. A beautiful walk around the lake - Trout were tricky to catch in the lake but easier in the ponds.

Scott the only bit you got right was " nice staff". Fishing gear is continually upgraded and maintained, in fact one of your group had a brand new rod. Yes we have rules to benefit the enjoyment of fishing by all visitors, which the others...More
