Westfield Chatswood is located on Sydney’s affluent North Shore, approximately 11 kilometres from the CBD. Conveniently situated with easy reach of Chatswood train station, a major bus interchange and the Pacific Highway. Westfield Chatswood is home to some of Australia’s favourite retailers including Myer, Target, Coles, Hoyts and ALDI as well as a host of other retailers including approximately 75 apparel, footwear and accessories stores including Zara, Top Shop, H&M and Uniqlo.

We have paid 20$ for 3 hours 7 Minutes parking today.
They have reduced FREE parking to 2 Hours
and charging 12 $ for extra and 6$ additional 1/2 hours,
How genious are these guys?
It meant to be all free parking on SUNDAYs how did we get here?
Why it is 3 hours free in the Westfield Warringah Mall
Why is it 3 Hours free in the down street over David Jones
BUT 2 Hours
It is raining outside and everyone in rush inside for parking where would I see this 2 hours parking and get out in that caos.

It is simply and utterly outrageous that Westfield Chatswood has the audacity to charge for parking after 2 hours. The absolute minimum for free parking should be 3 hours. They provide free 4 hour parking if you download their app. WHY should a member of the public have to be forced to download the stupid app and key in personal details to get 4 hours parking? At the height of Covid they made parking free and as soon as the situation improved they slam you with outrageously high parking fees after 2 hours. Boycott them. You can’t even have a meal and shop within 2 hours. SHAME on you Westfield.

This is a complete scam and rip off. We have downloaded the Westfield app for 4h free parking and after 3h we were forced to pay $20.
I’m sure other people were robbed in the same manner. We do not let this go and have it reported to the authorities.
Just go to other shopping centre where you don’t need to download an app to do your shopping.

I entered with my Westfield app and exited the car park in 3 hours and 40 minutes and so under the free 4 hours limit for members. I took right side of the Devonshire exit and at about 8.57- 9.04 pm. As per attached photo I have free park until 9.19 pm. I’m charged 20$ And the receipt also doesn’t show my number plate but some other plate number. I need the refund back. I called but nobody assisted and someone mentioned me to call in the day hour to support team to rectify this and to get my $20 refund.

Who has the time to sit at the car park entrance and read your updated parking rates when there is a line of cars wanting to also enter the car park. I was charged $30 for parking 3 hours and 59 minutes which is absolutely ridiculous. You've lost a customer.

The shopping centre has intruduced new four hours complimentary parking for customers use the app. sounds great? However, after four hours, first 30 minute is $15. standard parking is only $7, more than double. yes. so it is designed to catch those parking just over four hours parking with excessive fee to recover so call free parking. in my case only three minutes over due to congestion inside the car park.

We went to Westfield signed up for the advertised 4 hour free parking so had a massage, watched a movie and thought we would grab dinner after the movies. What a mistake we got sucked in becoming Westfield plus members with the lure of 4 hours free parking. No such thing we got stung for $60 for our visit. Never again Westfield will we visit your centre or park in your Carpark you are rogues. Recommend park at the Mandarin centre maximum of $18 I’ll be making an official complaint as well.

Our Westfield plus member certainly have the benefit of extended 4 hours free parking but if you did parked over that period; for example more then 6 hours in your case, charges does apply.

Went for dinner and to the movies tonight and almost fell off my car seat when we left the car park: $30 for four hours of parking???!!! This is ridiculous, we've spent a small three digit sum at Westfield for the food and the cinema and for that we are getting penalised? Westfield have used COVID obviously to sneak in some price hikes for their parking. We were already wondering, why the car park was so empty, but now we know. So, the best way to avoid it is: Do not to go there! Vote with your feet! Macquarie Centre is a good alternative for example: 3 hours free parking and four hours cost $15. And there's a cinema in there, too. Westfield, if you want your place to be deserted in the evening with only a few people visiting your tenants' venues, then stick to these rip off rates!

Since June of last year we have been advertising our free membership program, Westfield plus. It certainly had lots to offer and parking is just one of the many benefits. Once you are a member you will receive 4 hours free parking at Westfield Chatswood with first entry or free parking after 6pm to mid night..
The standard free parking for non-members is 2 hours free here and you could always press the 'Help' button upon exit where our team will be able to assist if you have concerns over your parking.
Allow us to recommend you joining our loyalty membership program Westfield Plus. All that is required to become a member is to download the Westfield Plus app on your mobile phone and register your details including your vehicle rego. If you'd be willing to provide more feedback or need help joining our membership to enjoy 4 hours free parking, please reach out to us at (02) 9412 1555 so we can assist you further.

Arrive after 6pm - find out its changed sneakily and is no longer free but also jacked up prices at the end of the night... $35 for 4 hrs or so on a weekday where its practically empty? (no wonder). phwoaaarrrrr way to entice business. Only way its halfway decent is to download some garbage cesspool app and become some kinda member? No thanks. Go elsewhere, its cheaper & better.

Hi Charles, we are truly taken back by your review, tell us what you really think lol!! We do have a loyalty program called Westfield Plus, yes it is an app that is convenient, free and easy to download. One of the great benefits includes 4 hours free parking every visit and free parking when you enter after 6pm. My first visit to Westfield, Chatswood. New to NSW. Took the time to shop, enjoyed a movie and dinner. My parking fee was $50. When I got home my Son explained they have an app and that helps with the cost of parking.
I don’t recall seeing any signs about using an app before paying. Reading the reviews it looks like they do not offer any first time forgiveness for not using an app.
Be aware and let’s hope Westfield management provide a gift certificate or credit on the Westfield plus App to help avoid further frustrated customers who spend a great deal of money enjoying the center and then shocked by the outrageous parking fee.
