The Dandenong Market, which is located in the heart of Dandenong itself, has changed quite a bit over the years although the, 4 day a week trading hours, haven’t. We used to shop here on a regular basis, so a visit here brought back some evocative and nostalgic memories. This iconic market still proves to be one of the best... More

The Market is popular for Chinese Stuff - Clothes , vegetables , meat etc . The bargain shops are available . Lot of shops are available and one can have a wider choice for the cost as well as choosing the material required . The Market closes early . It's a great place to shop for T shirts and Australian gifts! Prices are great: 3 shirts for $24 AU Also, loads of Asian Imports and a wonderful fresh foods/meats/fish/ vegetable market! There are also bakeries and loads of food stalls! Every possible ethnicity one can think of.... What a great place

This market is my main place for buying fish and vegetables. You can get lots of fresh vegetables at a good rate. Though crowded, this place give the best local fresh fruits and vegetables. You can get dresses, toys, shoe winter clothes , handbags all under one roof. Enough parking space and easily accessible using public transport. Dont miss the... More

I love a trip to the Dandenong market, however it can be a bit hit and miss. I personally find the produce section slightly underwhelming; the produce is cheap but the quality is not so great. I do enjoy the meat section; you can get beef cheeks for a steal. The takeaway outlets are the standout; a greasy dim sim,... More

Being a past resident my wife finds such pleasure revisiting the Dandenong market. Shopping for fruit and vegetables and other odd things.

Fantastic, we have just started doing out meat and vegatable shopping here the last few weeks. So cheap and such good quality! Wish we knew about it earlier!

A magnificent array of choices, so many competing stalls. If you can't find it here it doesn't exist!
