Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

June 2019 • Couples
The Walker Street Gallery, central to Dandenong and on a major arterial, is a great visit for a Saturday morning or afternoon.

The viewer is greeted with ceramics from the current exhibition: ONLY WHEN THE LAST TREE HAS DIED WILL WE REALISE WE CANNOT EAT MONEY which runs from 6 to 29 June 2019.

The great majority of the exhibition consists of paintings by Biram and multimedia from CSIRO researcher Karoly in the field of climate science.

One of the multimedia highlights for me was re-watching the "I'm a climate scientist" viral video from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation current affairs satire HUNGRY BEAST.

Biram's paintings are well-explained and the curatorship is thoughtful.

There is a quilt made by Karoly's wife and two paintings in the middle - one of them is Bunyip, a Victorian town which was affected by the Black Saturday fires of February 2009.

Another aspect of curatorship and cultural appreciation would be the letter from a Boon Wurrung corporation which approved Biram's use of Indigenous patterns and underpainting for symbolic purposes.

Walker Street is open for community activities and classes within and outside Greater Dandenong.

The promotion of the exhibition was moderately good with a reproduction of 2016 painting GEMBROOK LANDSCAPE by Peter Biram.

Definitely recommended to spend time with one painting or more - and money too. Biram's paintings cost some $1500 to $9000 for the larger-scale works. One work is not for sale.
