This boat trip was amazing - I would recommend this to anyone looking to see the Whitsundays.
Alex was a great skipper, with so much knowledge of the sea and Whitsundays - he made the trip really enjoyable.
Max & Melga were the best crew - really accommodating & made the trip really fun and were always on hand to help anyone out. The food they cooked was also delicious! This trip was definitely a highlight of my time in Australia.

This trip was one of the best experiences I’ve had in Australia. The atmosphere was great, everything on the boat was well-organized and the food was delicious as well. The boat crew (Alex, Juliette and Max) were doing an amazing job and took really good care of us.
Especially Max made a great impact on me with his professionalism and decent sense of humor ;)
If you’re looking for a relaxing and therapeutic boat-trip with beautiful sunsets, great snorkel opportunities and good vibes, this trip is highly recommended. 10/10 experience.

I found the entire tour quite underwhelming. Despite reading fairly good reviews before booking, and I thought with a name like ‘Spank Me’ there would be a bit more excitement involved in the trip - how I was mistaken!
We did get taken to some nice snorkel spots, and of course visited Whitehaven beach (being one of the first on the beach beating the crowds). However, the boat itself had very little atmosphere. The captain Alex was very health and safety heavy, so it put a downer on a lot of the trip, and the night camping on the beach was cancelled. We obviously understand there's dangers when sailing on a boat, but there are many other boats and captains who are much more relaxed and able to have a bit of fun with their group and crew. We sadly didn't get that on this tour so I'm quite disappointed, especially for the amount we paid. I would definitely recommend people do much more research before booking!
Overall it was just very low energy, and quite boring.

Hands down one of my most enjoyable times on the east coast of Australia. The crew, Zac, juliette and Max were super fun and relaxed making it a really chilled atmosphere onboard. The food was also amazing, I just wish I could stayed for another 2 nights! ⚓ ⛵️

Had an unreal time aboard the Spank Me boat. The Skipper Alex and his two deckhands Melga and Juliette worked around the clock to give everyone on board a true experience of the Whitsunday islands. Food was great, everyone had to get involved. Nothing was a rush we had loads of time doing every activity.
Something they pride themselves on is Being the first people to step foot on WhiteHaven beach on the Monday morning made that experience even sweeter as it got seriously busy as we were leaving .
I would choose the Spank Me Whitsundays package if you wanted a good balance of the Whitsundays experience but also the craic. If you’re after more of 3 day bender at sea I’d look elsewhere. I went with my girlfriend and we were only one of two couples aboard so definitely a great thing to do as a solo or in a couple

Had a lovely two days on the Avatar with Ty, Maz & Nathan!
Some unreal snorkelling spots, yummy food and fabulous beaches. bring a lot of sun cream, warm clothes & hydralyte just because the boat is out in the open.
we had so much fun - met some lovely friends on the boat also.

I went on this trip with 5 friends and it was the most amazing experience. The environment is beautiful, but to experience it on a sailing cruise made it unforgettable. The vibes on the boat were very relaxed and the entire cruise was very well-organized. The snorkel sites were incredible. We enjoyed a perfect mix of viewing the colourful corals and swimming with fish and turtles! Whitehaven beach was amazing and we could enjoy it for a perfect amount of time. I loved watching the sunset and looking at the shooting stars at night.
I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone!

I can’t rate this experience enough.
The crew were absolutely incredible going above and beyond for us. They were super understanding when I mentioned I have a shark phobia and came up with an alternative way for me to still participate in snorkelling just in a way that made me feel comfortable.
The food was fantastic, the music was perfect and the views were incredible. 10000% recommend this trip.

One of the best things we’ve done in Australia so far. Alex, Max and Juliette were great fun and made it an unreal trip. The food was really good and the crew made sure we went to the best spots at the best times. Would recommend!

Tied with Fraser Island for the best thing I have done in Australia (the bar is high). The idea of going on a sailing yacht was daunting to me at first but the skipper, Alex, knows what he’s doing and makes sure you’re comfortable throughout. His knowledge of the area means you’ll have a good experience no matter the weather.
Max and Julia cooked up an absolute storm in the kitchen, genuinely some of the best food I’ve had in Australia, restaurants included. I am a vegetarian and they actually catered towards that unlike other experiences I’ve been on. Max made for a good taxi driver/snake handler as well.

If I join the WhitSunday 2D2N cruise on Wednesday, what is the return date ( Thu/Fri) and time ? My travel plan is to arrive Airlie beach on Monday and leaving for Sydney on Friday.
Hi there, can I ask do u provide the prescription snorkeling mask？I can't see anything clearer if I don't have prescription one or could u give me any advice about that if u don't provide prescription？

We provide the standard mask/snorkel combo's. However 'AquaDive' at Abell Point Marina do sell/hire prescription masks.

Accommodation on Avatar is a combination of dorm style in the main hull and 6X double pod's which sit on the pontoons of the vessel.
