About
This unique tour is the only sailing outrigger canoe in Australia and operates 1 1/2 hour tours on a daily basis. Sailing is a large part of the tour on the waters off Airlie Beach, Whitsundays. We also paddle and guests can help as crew if the wish. Tours depart from the Lagoon Beach, a short stroll through the township of Airlie beach.

Steve was the complete captain, what an opportunity to see a part of Airlie beach and surrounds by water and immerse yourself in the habitat of the Loggerhead turtle, fully enjoyed the experience, Steve and Michelle are an awesome team, would strongly recommend if you like sailing and seeing new things.

Stephen met us on the beach with his beautiful outrigger waiting for us in the water for a sunset tour. There was nobody else and we had the boat to ourselves. Stephen was an excellent guide and told about the local nature and community. His family run business have built the outrigger themselves and it’s absolutely stunning, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be on the outrigger as none others exist in the world like it!
Stephen took us on a tour of the bay, provided us with some drinks and nibbles, we paddled and loved it! On the way back we enjoyed sitting on the trampolines and getting wet in the warm summer water.
Highly recommend, and a definite must to do in Airlie beach!

We had a great time pushing the envelope on a windier than expected day.
The longer the adventure went, the windier it got the more sails we shed. First the foresail and then the mainsail.
In the
End it was just the motor to get home.
What a hoot!

Michelle and Steve provided us with several hours of paddling on the beautiful waters off Airlie beach. Their outrigger canoe, Ohana, was extremely stable on the water and I loved being able to paddle as much as I wanted on the excursion. Steve took us to an area where we were able to see many large turtles surfacing around us. I would definitely recommend this adventure to any one who enjoyed being on the water!

I can highly recommend the sunset cruise. Steve took us on a private tour around the bay and explained everything we asked. He’s an absolutely great guide and captain in the self built outrigger. I wish we would have had more time to do the sea turtle experience. Hopefully we can make it back here and do that tour.
Also Steve provided us snacks, wine and a waterproof camera.
And to top that he brought a flower to put in my girlfriends hair. Rule #32: Enjoy the little things.

Michelle and Steve were fantastic! They had everything organised and ready for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the mix of exercise, fun and relaxation. Steve provided the right amount of commentary and local insight. Steve and Michelle offer a wonderful, personal, small group experience. HIGHLY recommended.

Had such a lovely day, our hosts were very knowledgeable and welcoming. Michelle and Steve also recommended us some other things to do in the area (some nice beaches and a nature walk) It was very relaxing but also can be a little bit of exercise if you choose! Would definitely do this again :)
