Absolutely unreal experience. The views were amazing and having over an hour to chill and swim at Whitehaven beach in a less crowded area than you get with the boat tours was unbeatable.

Helireef was an amazing experience. After a 15 min helicopter journey from Airlie, over the whitsunday islands, and to Whitehaven. The pilot sets out a beach mat, umbrella and bottle of champagne to enjoy on the beach for an hour and 15. Before then flying back and once again getting the stunning views.

Loved every minute of this experience. We did the trip out to Whitehaven. This was a bucket list trip to celebrate a big milestone anniversary and it did not disappoint!!!! even though it was overcast it was as so incredible.
The only thing I wish I had done differently is not booked a longer/bigger trip. So if you’re contemplating options, It is definitely worth every $$$$ just priceless. I could have been up there all day if I could.
The pilot was so lovely. We felt so safe up in the air and I’m a nervous flyer.
I also loved that he set us up on the beach to relax and do our own thing and left us to ourselves for some alone time, and it didn’t feel weird or third wheel.

Couldn't imagine a better way to spend 2hours, both flying over the barrier reef and visiting Whitehaven beach,
Our pilot, Tom, was great, immediately putting us at ease and passionate and full of local knowledge. When we spotted some wildlife (turtles, rays, sharks) in the sea he'd take time to take a look whilst pressing on to our first location, the Heart Reef - which actually is shaped that way - and like all of the Great Barrier Reef is truly stunning, for which the aerial perspective is definitely recommended.
The trip then on to and landing on Whitehaven Beach where we had time to wander around on the pristine fine white sand for ~1hr, including chilling on the set-up rug with parasol and complimentary sparkling white wine.
It was a perfect experience to propose to my partner.

WOW!!!! What an experience 🚁 from Hayman to Whitehaven to reef world. Jimmy our Pilate was next level…..his knowledge, service, care and photography skills were next to none. Thank you for our breathtaking tour and making our wedding anniversary perfect.

We used Helireef for our transfer from Hamilton Island to Hayman Island where we were staying for our honeymoon. I hadn't told my wife so it was a great surprise and the perfect start to our trip to the Whitsundays. Tom was an excellent pilot and guide.

We had the best time. We boated out to Reef World, snorkelled with fish on the Great Barrier Reef. Then a nice lunch and a couple of beers. After which we helicoptered over the Heart Reef and Whitehaven Beach. Finishing on Hamilton Island, couldn't recommend enough.

Looong awaited Helichopter ride over the Whitsundays
We did the ‘60 Min Reef & Whitehaven’ tour
Trust me - It does not get any better than this! Absolutely breathtaking !
The Whitsundays certainly put on a show for us today. Three whales including a lil baby whale. The beautiful coral reef and the very romantic heart island . And the breathtaking Whitehaven beach

Some feedback though - Would have given them 5 stars if we could have gone in a group of four versus 2

We had an awesome afternoon being flown by Jimmy H (with the moustache) over the Whitsunday Islands. We had exclusive use of Whitehaven beach (yep not a single sole) for a swim and picnic. Flew over the memorable heart reef and spent a couple of hours at reef world and almost got a free nights accommodation on the reef due to bad weather. Jimmy was very friendly, personable, had good local knowledge and above all is an exceptional pilot. We had an amazing experience and could not recommend this tour highly enough!

Spectacular helicopter trip to Whitehaven emanating out of Hayman Island. Our pilot (David??) was also our guide, so well informed about the area and a pleasure to talk too.
We landed dead centre of the beach with nobody around and our pot set up our picnic and then disappeared into the bushes to give us total privacy. Crystal. clear water and white sandy beach, together with a picnic and bottle of sparkly what more can you ask for. A truly memorable experience and was over way too soon!!!
