While the Harbour has extensive damage we still enjoyed our visit. We are staying i Airlie Beach and took the bus $6.80 each round trip. Just up the road is a trail head and amazing views! Well worth the trip. Be sure to bring plenty...More

My Wife and i spent our honeymoon cruising up to airlie beach just after cyclone Debbie. Even after such a big natural disaster we could see how amazing this place is. A must do is a scenic flight out of here over the great barrier...More

We were quite shocked to see the devastation in Shute Harbour from the cyclone Debbie, however, people were will able to put their boats in the water.

The place is in the throes of being fixed after the cyclone so there's several places that are in a state of disrepair but it's still a pretty place to visit.

A quick bus trip from Airlie Beach. Beautiful views of the habour from the lookout. Other than that, there's nothing to do (no shops for coffee etc) as it was all devastated by Cyclone Debbie. Think you can still do a kayak tour or something...More

There is not a whole lot to do actually. Have a coffee or go for a walk on the beach board walk which follows the beach line. There are lots of little Cafes on the walk. Enjoy😀
