Whitsundays Sunset Sailing Cruise

Sail the waters of the Whitsunday Islands like pioneers of the past on a traditional gaff-rigged schooner. Take in the sunset over the islands and blue waters in the best possible way: from the deck of a boat. Munch on light snacks, sip a glass of sparkling wine, and snap photos of your friends or family in front of a fiery sunset over Pioneer Bay, Airlie Beach, and Hamilton Island.

Did both the sunset sail and they snorkeling day trip. I’ve been to multiple countries and done these sort of trips but I’ve never had a better trip then with Pete and Oscar. You can tell how much they love there job and how hard the want to make people’s trip amazing. The snorkel spot was amazing, Whitehaven beach is crazy good, they answer any questions you have, the sail boat is awesome perfect for a cheeky tan there n back without being rocked around on the boat, food was quality good. But the best part was Pete and Oscar these lads took care of us all day no matter what these dudes are legends. If you come to airlie beach you have to do this trip. I did another like it and these guys amazed me.

Chilled cruise at the end of an overcast day. Great to get out under sail for a couple of hours. Unfortunately not much sun so not much of a sunset but that didn't matter at all. Thanks to Peter and Buzzie.

This sunset sail on the Providence in Airlie beach was a great experience. I would recommend, not for children though. 5 stars.

Me and my friend were really disappointing with the experience with Providence V. Poor professionalism from the staff members, we expected a better service and accord to the program, we didn't really get any morning tea, we were hungry the hall day, lunch very disappointing, we just got a wrap. And we also expected some. More guidance in the island and the bush walk but we were just dropped off at the island with no idea what to do o where to go. Snorkeling very disappointing too and short. Wouldn't recommend this boat, sorry!

Really enjoyed the experience and sunset but there where too many people on board. Hubby and two others didn’t manage to get a seat. Little unfair and uncomfortable trying to juggle food and drinks when you don’t have a seat! Numbers should be capped to make it safe and comfortable for all customers. Having to dodge out of the way every time somebody wanted to use the toilet wasn’t the best.

Thanks for review and perhaps you attended with the other guest whose review was similar. We are certainly within our number of guests allowed. And as I mentioned in previous response, far less than other vessels offering sunsets. There is seating for everyone.
